My boyfriend and I stayed at the Cavalier for 4 nights in August 2014. We had an oceanfront room with a king size bed and a balcony overlooking the beach on the 5th floor. Our room and bed were comfortable, the AC worked great, we had chairs on our balcony to enjoy, and enjoyed our jetted tub (More suitable for... More

Cavalier location is good north from the boardwalk but only a few blocks away so the br8ght lights and noise are lower here. Room on 8 the was quiet but Mold smell. They gave us a new room no problems. Many friendly professional employees.

1-Ms Lindsay (front desk girl)-->very unfriendly person, bad attitude, never smile, not even say hello when we just arrived! did not give us any guidance about the hotel, etc; thanks God you have Ms Tori who was really nice, always smiling and willing to help at all times. 2-Very Silent Lobby, almost creepy, put some music, Big TV etc to... When we planned our vacation to the beach, we knew we wanted to stay at The Cavalier. We have always had a pleasant visit their over the years. It is outdated, but I had no real complaints during our visit there this week. Staff was extremely pleasant and very helpful. The breakfast was ok, but it was free. Met some... More

We stayed for 3 nights in august. We enjoyed the location, right on the beach and although we stayed on the first floor with no balcony and just a little ocean view we didnt mind it, very close to the main door and pool. It was quiet. Shower curtain was in really bad condition but they replaced as soon as... More

You get what you pay for - less expensive than most other hotels on the beach and probably not as nice. As others said, the furniture is pretty dated. Had to ask for a 2nd set of towels. All the rooms have a view of the beach at least vs other hotels. The only free parking is across the street... More

first of all I would like to say that Expedia mislead me and I will not use that travel agency again! It was an overpriced room that did not met my requests. first I wanted a room on a higher floor. the ranks for towels in bathroom where broken and the housekeepers them selves complained of the mismanagement. I guess... More

Simply put the amenities are nice but the quality of the facility is not great. The room is super dated, with mismatched furniture, nonworking lights, bulbs missing in others, and a musty smell. The freezer in the "tiny" refridgerator is completely frosted over, couldn't even fit my hand in it. Walls are "paper thin" , the noise from our neighbors... More

When we got to our rooms at The Cavalier Hotel it smelled a bit musty. Then we looked in the bathroom and there was black mold on the ceiling! Our shower head was breaking off. They didnt give us enough towels. Our hotel key wouldn't work, so we had to get it reprogramed more than five times! I tried to... More
