From the moment of check in, the staff were friendly and kind. The lobby is open, spacious, and has great views of the ocean. Despite a lobby renovation (that pushed a B- breakfast into a converted hotel room), this is a terrific place to stay for Virginia Beach. Rooms are very nice with great views. Lobby was being renovated so cannot comment. Indoor pool small but usable. Hot tub a bit close so you could get splashed. Staff extremely friendly. Free wifi too. Kudos to the staff. They seemed to enjoy greeting the guests with a genuine smile. Would stay again.
