I stayed there over labor day weekend 2009. We were running in the Virginia Beach half-marathon and hotel occupancy was very high that weekend most hotels near the beach sold-out. The rooms were clean, front desk staff was helpful, and housekeeping was efficient. I had read some prior reviews and was a little concerned but had no problems during the... more

Chose this hotel as a Choice Hotel Privileges Card member, and because I trust them, I did not check reviews. I should have. Absolutely the dirtiest room I have ever seen, let alone stayed in .. unswept floors, hair all over bathroom, urine in toilet along with used condom, sand everywhere. I reported to desk with response that manager would... more

We stayed at the Quality Inn Pavilion for the Labor Day weekend and the Rock 'n Roll 1/2 Marathon. The location worked well for us; too far to walk to the beach, but easy access to the convention center and beach parking. Our room was clearly old, and had some cosmetic issues, but the water was hot, the air conditioning... more

We stayed here since it was short notice and there wasn't any rooms available on the beach. I was pleasantly surprised after reading some of the bad reviews here. We had 2 rooms, one double and one king. Both rooms were very big, clean and obviously recently renovated. Big TV, clean microware & fridge in both rooms. The only complaints... more

Please please think twice about staying here. Calling it a rat hole would be too generous! The exterior of the building is terrible. Corridors are fifthly and stair railings are rusty. The rooms are worse. We went with a large group so we had an opportunity to see many rooms. All were condemnable! There is NO “Quality” at this Inn.... more

We chose the Quality Inn Pavillion because it was next door to the convention center where they were hosting the National Indoor Field Hockey Tournement. You could just walk around the corner and you were there, no worries about parking. Several player's families stayed there. Sure it wasn't the best place in town, but it was a bargain. Renovated rooms... more

We stayed at this hotel over Labor Day weekend. We were in town for the Rock n Roll Half Marathon which starts at the VA Beach Convention Center that is next door. For a budget hotel, it was acceptable. Our room was clean and tighty and gently worn. Front desk staff were polite. The pool is okay but the people... more

We stayed here for a quick couple day beach trip and we were very pleased. It is a few blocks from the oceanfront (first time we didn't stay OF) but they provide a shuttle to the beach so we were happy. Very clean and fairly quiet. more

The first impression when driving into the parking lot is really nasty. The hotel looks abandoned and has nothing to be desired. Our room was organized and clean but it had a musty smell. The towels are like "SAND-PAPER" so if you ever decide to stay here make sure to bring your own towels. We soon find out that there... more
