Considering this is part of the Hilton family and we paid in excess of $200.00 per night for a room that was approximately 10 blocks from the beach this was a huge disappointment. Hotel and rooms were dirty, hotel is aging, and not gracefully, halls and room had terrible odor, towels had strange smell, restaurant on premise had breakfast bar... more

I booked the romance package for fathers day weekend and my anniversary. The staff was great and they gave us an o.k. rate. We were supposed to have breakfast sent to the room as part of our package. The restaurant was late with our food all three days, messed up the order completely twice and lost our order once. We... more

Me, my husband and mother in law stayed at the Doubletree for Fathers Day. I booked my room through Priceline and paid $150.00 which I thought was too much. The Hotel was nice and clean but not close enough to the beach. The bed was too soft and the refrigerator was not working properly. The front desk staff was very... more

We got a priceline deal that picked this hotel for us for a reasonable price. the hotel was nice and clean, staff was pleasant and polite. Would have rather have been on a beachfront property, but Ill take what I can get. No breakfast is included but had breakfast and max & erma's which is attatched to the hotel. Great... more

The problems with this hotel started when I arrived very late after flying in from California. My room keye didn't work so I hauled all my luggage back down to the front desk. they gave me another key, which also didnt work. The third try worked. This happened again, every night of my four-day stay. The staff seemed to think... more

The Virginia Beach Convention Center Double Tree is our new Govt Contract Hotel for when we are temporarily assigned to the Norfolk area. The rooms are tiny. The expensive internet is slow. The staff unfriendly (it is so much work to call a cab to the airport for a customer). This almost 300 room Hilton Lite Hotel has 3 washers... more

I just got back from Virginia Beach today, and while there I stayed at the Doubletree located at 1900 Pavilion Dr. (right next to the convention center). I chose this hotel for one reason: it was located right next to the start of the Rock 'n Roll Half Marathon, which I participated in (having greatly enjoyed the Country Music Half... more

I travel very frequently for work and pleasure. I am also a Gold Member of the Hilton Honors Program for frequent travelers of the Hilton Family of hotels. I love Hilton Hotels and have never encountered an issue until this hotel. Where do I begin? 1) The parking lot has zero light fixtures. If there are any, they do NOT... more

This hotel is not on the beach, but it is so close, that you do not miss the crowds and noise that accompanies those beachfront hotels. The staff is very friendly. I had an issue with my room key, but the staff worked very hard to resolve this for me in a timely fashion. The Max and Erma's is great... more
