The first impression of this hotel is very nice. The breakfast was very good! However, the bedding in our room smelled terribly of urine and they could not change our room. Our balcony looked out over an extremely noisy air conditioning system that you could hear all night long. more

We always check tripadvisor reviews before we (husband and self, 40's) book a hotel, as well as when we return. And we are usually "kinder" than others with our reviews - a lot of times problems or issues others have, we don't. I guess my point is to say that we are not hard to please. BUT, we were so... more

Booked an oceanfront room w/balcony using our Starwood points. Stayed for three nights. Nice room but probably slightly below par .vs. most Starwood properties that we have stayed in over the past few years (I'd rate as a 3 1/2 out of 5). Some gripes: #1) our room was a 3rd floor end unit but an adjoining room (a door... more

This was our first time to VA beach. Customer service was great but the elevators were on the slow side when ever it was time to check in and out. And they were very slow to come clean the rooms. We left our room early morning and came back at around 3pm and the room still wans't clean. But other... more

My BF and I arrived to our room. Great location and view of ocean with private balcony. The problem showed up when we did our routine inspection for bedbugs. We do that in EVERY hotel room we stay in because of the bedbug epidemic. We always pull the sheets off the bed to inspect the mattress, look under beds, behind... more

My husband and I went to Virginia Beach Sheraton Hotel for our anniversary and we had a great time! We had a deluxe oceanfront king room which had a gorgeous view! The staff was great and the room was clean. The food at Aqua Vi was delicious! The only thing we highly disliked was that we had to pay for... more

We just returned from VA Beach. We wanted to stay oceanfront and found a great rate at Hotwire. The hotel is almost at the north end of the boardwalk. Out of the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk. Which was great. It was a short walk to the activities on the boardwalk and a lot of nice restaurants. We had... more

Sure, the hotel has some issues, beds weren't that comfortable, elevators were slow, it could do with some updating......but every single member of the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. This was the first time we had vacationed with our 2 year-old twins, so this really made a huge difference... more

We were there for a Convention. Four nights of Hell - my back has still not recovered. Last night there my wife made me a bed on the floor so I could sleep. We are not small people but Double beds just don't work for couples. One couple, who is quite thin, told us they could not sleep together. Over... more
