I took my boyfriend for his birthday weekend. Beautiful scenery, affordable pricing, nice amenities, and friendly staff. I unfortunately felt that it was completely geared towards families with kids which isn't a bad thing if you are going with a family. I know that all campgrounds are family friendly but in my opinion maybe the curfew that they have at... More

Four families from our Neighborhood spend Columbus Day weekend camping here. This was our 5th camping trip (first time to this campground) and hands down THE BEST camping experience ever. We choose to spend a little more and get the Waterfront camp sites (4 along the Middle River next to their waterfall). The campgrounds were beautiful and the staff was... More

We camped for 15 days at Shenandoah Valley Campground, because of the location and the advertised free Wi-Fi. I will start with the Cons first and then end on the positive. 1. “We Have Zero Tolerance of Public Intoxication” and “Curfew/Quiet Hours: 11:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m. Please be considerate of others. No loud music or loud conversations.” We arrived on a... More

We went here for the first time last weekend. We absolutely LOVED it!! The lady at the front counter was so sweet and helpful from the start. We were right by the playground which was great for the kids. At night the snowball truck came by too. The pool felt nice, it's heated. And there are 4 hot tubs! We... More

Went to this campground about 8 years ago and really enjoyed it, this time not so much. It seemed to be a lot of confusion in the office. Since we were on a non sewer site, I paid to have the honeywagon come by to pump the tanks. At 5pm they had not been by, so I went to the... More

This place has really gone down hill. We stayed for two nights. The first day was fine...on the morning of the 2nd day they opened a raw sewage line that was 20-25ft from the front porch of our cabin. The entire day/night all we could smell was sewage. The owners didn't care & did nothing to make our stay comfortable.... More

After Shenandoah Acres in Stuart's Draft closed a few years back, we'd had a void to fill every summer. We decided to try SVC because it seemed like a family-friendly place and had everything my two boys (8 and 9 yo) would want. We were not disappointed. We got a rental camper and it was set up for us when... More

Had a great time! Stayed Friday night and left Sunday . Girls floated the river , went swimming in the pool and enjoyed the karaoke and the dj at the pavilion. Didn't get to fish any. We stayed on the river front the only complaint I had was the scattered gravel under the tent beds. Curfew is at 11:00 pm... More

This campground was more than I thought it would be. We stayed as an overnight visit on our way to DC. I was pleasantly surprised. Staff very nice. Sites are close together. They had many activities going on and everyone seemed to be having a good time. Our resident fisher person did not catch a single fish but the pond... More

Having made a prepaid reservation ahead-of-time, I was greeted courteously and provided a color map to my site, which was a clean, shaded, full-hookup, level and pull-through. Hookups were conveniently located & water pressure was good but not excessive. The encrypted Wi-Fi worked but was painfully slow. If the campground offered cable TV, I could never find the connection for... More
