I purchased a Living Social deal for two nights at this hotel and redeemed it for a weekend getaway for me and my husband. The owner, Angela, was phenomenal; she spent time on the phone with me answering my questions about the area and added such a personal touch to the entire visit, that I felt we were staying with... Angela the owner could not be nicer. The room was comfortable and clean and it was nice to have a refrigerator and microwave. It is well situated so you don't have to drive anywhere to eat breakfast lunch or dinner. Went on a livingsocial deal, so it was reasonably priced

My wife and I truly enjoyed our quick weekend getaway here. The room was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. It looks older but that just adds to its charm The restaurant in front was very good. highly recommend. I would definitely stay here again.

The Chesapeake Inn is an older place, but we had no complaints about it's cleanliness or how well it has been maintained. The room we were in (they called it the Paris room) was very large, and appeared to have been painted and/or remodeled recently. It was quiet, as is the whole town, and we enjoyed staying here while we... More

The owners did a fantastic job with the decor and furnishings. We had the Parrot Room, a very comfortable 4-poster king bed, antique end tables with parrot motif, and parrot-bedecked lamps. Flat screen TV, free wi-fi, full-size refrigerator and a small microwave, shower-tub combination. Certainly everything a traveler needs, in a scrupulously clean room. The one drawback is the lack... The bedding is awesome, first rate. Angela and John run a top notch boutique hotel here. The free WiFi is a nice touch and the are many places to shop nearby and eating establishments, be sure to try The Works that is on property. The town has a small town atmosphere and the town actually has their own marina.

I took my husband to The Chesapeake Inn for his birthday and we had such a great time. Room was clean & very elegantly decorated. Angela, the manager, was super nice and accomidating. We ate dinner at the onsite restaurant and the food was excellent. The shrimp & grits and truffle mac and cheese for to die for! We will... More

We only spent the one night here, and, unfortunately, it was to be closer to family for a funeral the following day, so not a pleasure trip. We went late to the room, and were able to unwind easily here after a stressful day. The room was quite comfortable, very nicely decorated, comfy bed and pillows. We did not get... More

My best friend and I found a living social deal for the Chesapeake Inn, we checked the website out and it seemed like such a nice place to stay. We were looking for a relaxing getaway and that's exactly what we received. The owner was really friendly and helped answer any questions we had. We had everything we needed. The... More

This place is PERFECT! The rooms are gorgeous! Each room is unique and beautifully designed! The owners are hands on and are wonderful people and instantly make you feel like family. The rooms are spotless (which is VERY important to me)! The bar and restaurant are awesome and there are also a few more delicious places to eat in walking... More
