this is an historic building-- over 100 years old. i believe it was a hospital during the civil war. the owners have added several adjacent houses to increase the room count. we had been to the restaurant in the hotel several times over the past few years. the restaurant is fine and is a great local attraction. in March/April we... This was way more than just a place to stay! It was an experience in itself and worthy of being its own destination! We stayed on the third floor. (no elevators!) and didn't hear a peep from any other rooms or the hallway. The restaurant was great. We ate the hot breakfast both mornings and dinner one night. Great staff... More

We stayed in this charming hotel in Strasburg while making our first visit to Shenandoah National Park, which is very easy to get to from Strasburg. At $68 per night, our room was small but clean and well maintained. Except for the fact that the free wifi wasn't working during our brief stay, the Hotel Strasburg was all that reviews... More

This hotel was wonderful. The place was very clean, rooms were well-appointed and warm, with the gables, slanted ceilings (top floor) and grand staircases of the genuine historic hotel it is. Having an excellent restaurant in the hotel was another advantage.... we rolled right in and had dinner before settling into our room. A complimentary, freshly prepared continental breakfast in... This hotel is an old historic building from 1902. You step in side and feel the atmosphere and spirit of early twentieth century. The room, bathroom and actualy the whole hotel was very clean and beautifully decorated. The location is quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was included and it was good. Free wi-fi.

http://www.hotelstrasburg.com/ 213 South Holliday Street, Strasburg, VA 22657 We had booked two double rooms [we are a family of four with two teenagers], 1 night, for a total of $166.60, which I think is very good value for the money. On October 18th, 2012, we drove from our home outside Philadelphia down to Strasburg in Virginia, and made the mistake... More

We discovered this hotel accidentally traveling down route 81 from New Jersey to Florida. The first time happened to be a Thursday night when the bar features live music. The small bar was packed with locals, the food was delicious and the two musicians were also locals, not young, but incredibly good playing guitar and singing the American songbook. When... More

Not just an overnight stay for a reasonable price. We were looking for an unusual place to stay while visiting the Shenandoah Valley and discovered this old fashioned hotel, right down to the bell on the front desk. Complete with creaky foors and a long wooden staircase, this is more museum than a hotel. Lots of history here. Highly recommended.

Let me first say that hotel Strasburg is not your regular hotel with lots of luxuries. If that's what you are looking for this is not the place for you. It's a quaint vintage hotel with the warmth and comfort of your grand mothers house. The rooms are not fancy, but they are charming and different. We stayed for one... More
