My wife and I have stayed at the Hotel Strasburg several years before when we brought our antique car club on a trip to Strasburg for the weekend. We recently stayed there again on an anniversary trip. We were as pleased about this visit as our previous one. The staff is very friendly and helpful. One note to make is... More

Seems very tired and worn. Has lost whatever charm it may once have had and is badly in need of updating. Paint dirty, peeling and cracked in room 202 (and in common areas). Wallpaper stained, peeling, & spots. Carpet shabby. Tiny, dated bathroom. Fiberglass shower floor was stained; both husband and I passed on stepping into it and opted to... More

We booked a room in this place on-line for a single night. It is about an hour drive from Dulles airport. It has a carpark and on street parking is free. The hotel is old by US standards and the main building may be difficult to fully access if you have mobility issues. The main staircase is fairly steep and... More

Most comfortable beds! A great night's rest. No elevators, however, and our room was on the third floor. Very clean, full of interesting antiques, but walls/wallpaper needs a bit of refreshing. We ate dinner there and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast...hospitality A+.

Traveling down I-66 and I-81 just looking for a decent place to sleep and found this lovely old hotel. Built in 1902 as a private hospital, it was renovated into this Victorian gem-of-a-hotel in 1977. Antiques everywhere, comfy old-fashioned rooms, pub and dining room downstairs. We stayed on the third floor and enjoyed the walk up the staircases, but there... More

BUT -- after our 2nd stay there in one week- we were, upon our reservation , quoted our usual price. However, upon arrival, after a terrible drive, the night clerk insisted on a different price …way higher, which was most irritating. So if you make a reservation, ask for the 'older' Barbara who has been there for many years. She... More

Great staff, quaint, quiet, reasonably priced, and interesting artwork on all the walls even our bathroom. Best older hotel I have stayed in and location offered nice walks thoughout the historic district. Also street noise was minimal as it was 2 blocks away from the busier Main Street. Two restaurants on site and we chose the more informal pub style... More

This place is 110 years old so and you are reminded of that in every room, hallway and furnishing. Nothing here is without a creak or idiosyncrasy.(The floor settled so much on the second story or room door had a 2 inch crack beneath it on one side). The Victorian furnishings are well worn but comfortable. The bed was comfy... More

We spent one evening here while on our recent motorcycle trip. This is one of the neatest places we have stayed to date! The property is restored with antique furnishings throughout. We stayed in a small room on the third floor. Clean as a pin. Comfy bed. Small bathroom but had everything you would need. Ate at the onsite pub/restaurant... More
