A friend and I spent the night at this lovely B&B on 8/14 in the hopes that we could enjoy the Pleiades shooting stars show. Clouds made that impossible, but the B&B and its wonderful hostess, Donna, made the trip nonetheless worthwhile. The place is spotless with lots of family Victoriana; the bed was very comfortable; the linens, first class;... More

We stopped by for a night going from North Carolina to Pennsylvania. Donna was extremely accommodating from the moment we walked in. The place is full of interesting antiques and we were welcomed to check them all out. We were treated to some wine and various hors d'oeuvres while there; these included cheeses, fruits, and bacon wrapped dates with blue... More

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary weekend. The house and rooms are so beautifully decorated in antiques with modern amenities. We stayed in the Hickerson room. The room is spacious and the bed luxuriously comfortable. Upon arrival we had champagne and a delicious cheese plate waiting for us. Donna made the most amazing breakfast we have ever... More

My wife and I needed a weekend away to recharge. We headed to the Shenendoah National Park for some hiking. After a night in the park, we opted for a romantic B&B for the final night. Donna's place was just the ticket. The Hickerson room was beautiful with touches of the 1800s and 1900s. The jacuzzi tub was great after... More

That's the motto of this lovely B&B and it is so true. Donna has accomplished a superb restoration and every area of the house is both comfortable and yet from another era. We had the Hickerson room which was very large with a to die for bathroom as well. Donna provides wine and a cheese plate as well as many... More

We were here for just one night, and very much enjoyed our stay. Donna was very welcoming and the house decorated very well in Victorian style, with lots of little details. Our room was lovely ( though the front window could do with a blind as it's very bright in the morning) and the bathroom huge and excellent. Nice spa... More

A.C. Stickley B&B in Strasburg, VA was our 2nd stop on a 16 day road trek and set a high standard for the whole trip. It is off the beaten track, which is a good thing. Donna is a gracious hostess and welcomed us at the door, helped us with our bag and set out a cheese tray with wine.... More

This was our first visit to Virginia and we decided to use strasburg as a base to see the Shenandoah valley, take a drive on the skyline drive and visit the luray cavern. AC Stickley was one of the best if not the best B&B we have stayed in the USA. Decorated in Victorian style with a lot of attention... More

My honey Lauren and I spent a romantic weekend at the A. C. Stickley bed and breakfast. It was wonderful. Nestled in the Shenadoah valley, this b&b is perfect. Upon arrival, Donna greeted us with a delicious cheese and fruit plate, and a choice of wine, and we sat out on the front porch and enjoyed the sunset and the... More

My fiance and I decided to get out of the city for a night on Valentines, and I couldn't be happier about choosing A.C. Stickley. We really lucked out with this find. During the days leading up to our visit, Donna was exceptionally helpful via email, providing winery and dining suggestions in the area and even offering to book our... More
