I'm a travel agent and I must say I was rather impressed. What we noticed right away was the wealth of restaurants in the area. It was around the holidays and upon entering the lobby, Hyatt Place had a delightfully decorated Christmas tree. The decor was contemporary styled with earth toned colors and had a sense of warmth. Everything was... more

We were a party of British tourists escaping the damp and cold of home for a week. Holiday booked entirely on the net and following TripAdvisor ratings to find what we hoped was a good standard of hotel. We were not disappointed. In the first place , being on unfamiliar ground the van service to / from airport and around... more

This is a great business hotel. The rooms are big, the beds are great. Granite countertops, soft pillows, a big couch and flat screen TV. You'll really be able to feel at home. Downsides: There are no drawers in the room which means your room is a big mess the whole time you are there. Additionally, the closet is tiny... more

I had a 14 hr layover at Dulles between flights and was looking for a comfortable place to work for the day with some restaurants and a bit of shopping around. WOW! Did I ever find a gem! And at an unbelieveable $63 dollar AAA rate - I couldnt be more blown away. The rooms are lovely. Stylish, comfortable and... more

My flight got cancelled, I was stuck at Dulles overnight, and I was not a happy camper. This hotel was pleasant enough to make me feel better about the whole thing. The rooms are modern and nice, with plenty of room, a couch, flat screen tv etc. The front desk staff were great, and the free breakfast offered healthy food... more

Nice place, recently renovated. The sitting area was great because we have a little one. The sitting area worked out well for us to set up a pack and play. Everything was clean but the mattresses were very hard. Everyone that stayed with us loved the hotel and the service but we all complained about the mattresses. They were so... more

I have stayed in this hotel for business a few times before when AmeriSuites owned it, and stayed in it (again for business) from 2-4 June 2007 under the Hyatt Place brand for the first time. The hotel still has complimentary airport transport until 10pm, and also transport to wherever you want within 5 miles. This means they take you... more

We arrived at the Hyatt Place after a hard day's ride on the C & O Canal Towpath (about 15 miles away). We checked in quickly, and headed up to our rooms. We were blown away at the quality of the rooms! The bedroom and bathroom were nicely appointed. A little was left to be desired with the business center... more

Clean, neat. Lots of good food on the free breakfast buffet. Staff was very helpful. Lots of room in the suite for 2 adults, 2 kids. Very impressed. A little far for our sightseeing trip of DC, but we used to live there so we knew what we were facing. more
