My wife and I had another extraordinary visit with our friends at The Inn at Vaucluse Spring. This marks the seventh straight year that we've spent the holiday weekend at the Inn, and it remains as one of our favorite destinations. The owners/innkeepers (Neil & Barry) are dedicated to ensuring your stay is as close to perfect as possible. The... More

My husband surprised me this weekend with a trip to "The Inn". We stayed at the Manor house in the Jones room. What a relaxing and comfortable stay!- The Manor House is beautifully restored and decorated. Rooms are full of Cozy fireplaces and comfy chairs to relax a read and if you have forgotten a book there are plenty to... More

We have stayed at a number of inns and bed and breakfasts throughout the United States and this is the best one we have visited. The Innkeepers, Neil and Barry are wonderful, charming and witty hosts. You feel at home the moment you arrive and with the freshly made cookies or brownies awaiting you, you know you are in for... This was our first visit to the Inn, but not our first reservation....we were unable to make the first one three years ago due to an unfortunate accident where my wife sustained a fractured leg! So, now fully healed, we attempted another visit and we thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality, cozy room( we stayed in the Zane Room), the grounds and... More

Even though we have stayed here often in the past, this is our first visit in over 2-years. Coming onto the property is like coming home. Neil & Barry are on hand to greet each guest as he/she arrives; and, I shouldn't forget the homemade cookies and hot water for tea or cocoa. We stayed in the mill house, a... More

We wanted an intimate setting for a small wedding with our families, and our experience at The Inn at Vaucluse couldn't have been more wonderful. There couldn't have been a more charming place to host our families. The Inn has enough space and buildings for people to spread out, but also enough large, charming common spaces to gather all together.... More

It's been almost 10 years since we stayed at the Inn and the property is no worse for wear at all. Meticulously maintained by its owners and bustling with Fall activity and visitors, the experience was again wonderful and marked by service that's attentive without being overbearing - accommodations that are first rate, quiet, private and very comfortable and food... We've stayed in various places in the Shenandoah, but this is our favorite. It's a large property with a number of lodging options. It's an easy drive from the Washington/Baltimore area, and is a great location to explore Shenandoah Valley including Winchester, VA to the north and multiple small pretty towns to the south. The three bedrooms on the 2nd... More

This was our 5th trip to the Inn. We have stayed in 4 diiferent rooms and plan to try another next time. This time we really enjoyed the Chumley House sitting area with the fireplace (real wood - well aged and neatly stacked inside). Both nights we went there, made a fire and read books. It would be a great... More

We have been to Vaucluse a number of times in the last few years and are never disappointed. The setting is lovely with an interesting history. Not your typical inn, there are several buildings on the property to choose from. We have tried a few different rooms and each is decorated beautifully with antique furniture, plush bedding and interesting art... More
