Fabulous accomodations! Actual 1790s restored manor house and the Strother Room was beautiful! Fine touches everywhere, very clean, our own fireplace, and Derrick's breakfasts were superb! Tiffany & Derrick were very friendly, personable hosts! We will be back!

Our room was lovely, extremely clean, and very well appointed. The owners also had many little touches that we haven't seen at many of our stays at B & B's had in the room. The innkeepers also provided each afternoon ice containers for all the rooms, along side cookies and available tea. Breakfast was exceptional with served 3 courses; fruit, pastry of sort, and main entree which was all prepared freshly on site. We highly recommend this Inn and will make sure to visit again when we return to the area. If you want to feel relaxed, rested, and enjoy meaningful time as a couple and not have imposing interference that you have when staying at a hotel or resort, then i recommend this Inn.

We just returned from the Inn at Vaucluse Spring. The Inn is very cozy, clean and spacious. The innkeepers are delightful and breakfast was delicious. The grounds are lovely also. We would definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay in the Gabriel's room. Nice king size bed and Jacuzzi as well. The breakfast was so tasty and looked gourmet. The grounds and rooms were well cared for and the hosts were very pleasant! The surrounding area was beautiful and the location was close to some very enjoyable attractions. We came away refreshed and relaxed.

My husband and I had a special weekend planned to visit Shenandoah National Park for the first time. We wanted a luxury retreat-scape instead of a run of the mill motel to celebrate our precious time together. The owners blended their clearly deep experience in the hospitality industry with all the warmth you'd expect from long-lost family members. The Cabin was so private and quiet (if you don't count the insect and frog chirping!) and exceptionally clean and well appointed. Breakfasts were TOO good--hopefully the superb hiking in Shenandoah offset Derrick's culinary skills. I appreciated no Wi-Fi or TV in the room. It added to the feeling of being on a retreat or in a sacred space.

Everything about this inn was terrific. we had the entire main house to ourselves for the 2 nights we were there so it was nice and quiet. the jones room was very big, comfortable bed and chairs. very big bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, vanity, a dresser and separate water closet. The owners tiffany and derrick were so nice. derrick was a really good cook, whipping up a delicious breakfast every morning. the inn is not far from several area attractions. some shopping on the pedestrian mall in town of winchester, where you can also tour the home of Patsy Cline if you are a fan. there are also a few breweries and wineries near by. the skyline drive in the shenandoah national park is about 20 minutes away. it is about 110 miles long so if you are planning on seeing it take the highway to the southern entrance and work your way north this way your ride back to the inn isnt too bad.…

In direct contrast to the hustle and bustle of Washington DC where we had spent the first three nights of our holiday The Inn at Vaucluse Spring was an oasis of peace and tranquility in the Virginian countryside, a couple of miles south of the small town of Stephens City. Our accommodation was in the Cottage beautifully furnished and decorated looking out on to lawns and woodland a short walk from the Manor House, Derrick proved to be the perfect host, offering tea and freshly baked shortbread on the Manor House verandah when we arrived, and superb three course gourmet breakfasts each morning. He was also helpful in suggesting nearby attractions to visit and local restaurants to eat at in the evening. I couldn't recommend the inn highly enough.

The Inn at Vaucluse Spring consists of a manor house and various other buildings and cabins in a beautiful setting in the Shenandoah Valley. My husband and I stayed in Gabrielle's Room near the manor house. It was a very spacious, pretty room with a king size bed. Derrick and Tiffany are model hosts who go out of their way to be friendly and accommodating. Derrick's three course breakfasts are very delicious and creative. They also have fresh baked cookies each day and offer free bottles of water and soda. There are many restaurants a short drive away that fit all tastes, as well as several nice wineries. You won't regret staying here!

The stars aligned and winter weather surrounded my arrival and departure yet allowed me to stay at Tiffany's and Derrick's wonderful Inn. Every detail was taken care of: Given the polar vortex (temperatures and wind chills below zero), Tiffany called me to arrange my direct check in to the Chumley House. She had notes to greet me; a well-stocked kitchen with complementary water; coffee; tea; soda; and Hershey Kisses! Firewood and kindling were next to my in- room fireplace and also in the common areas, all with instructions. Breakfast was truly gourmet and their famous 3-course meal, with unlimited coffee, water, OJ, etc. The Inn, Manor House, and grounds are meticulously maintained and decorated with perfectly matching linens; antiques; paintings; and artifacts that explain the history of the Inn. There are plentiful books, games, and sitting areas that beckon you to sit down; relax; abandon your electronic devices; and rest. Tiffany and Derrick are both wonderful conversationalists with a deep sense of purpose in giving back to you, as their guests, and to our greater humanity. It will be my privilege to visit again, host a retreat, and share in their great hospitality.…

We have just returned from our annual January stay with two other couples at the Inn at Vaucluse Spring. Innkeepers/owners Derrick and Tiffany continue to offer an unparalleled experience at the inn. From the time we arrived until our departure (after ten inches of a beautiful snowfall) we are treated as if we are family members. The breakfasts are spectacular (and Derrick will accommodate dietary restrictions); the fireplace room in the Chumley Homeplace inviting and cozy; the once a year television set in the Chumley Homeplace allowing us to watch the NFL playoff football-all this makes for "five-star" experience worthy of the inn's inclusion in the Select Registry. It goes without saying we have made our reservations for the same weekend next year. If you have not stayed at the Inn treat yourself.…
