We have stayed at several Select Registry properties in the past and our expectations have always been exceeded, until now. Frederick House is a tired, worn inn that is clearly out of the class it aspires to. The Inn seems basically clean and the location in downtown Staunton is very good if that's where you need to spend your time.... more

We usually stay at the cheapest hotel but we stayed here in their lowest priced room for only 103 dollars. Location was very convenient as it was in the middle of town and it was nice to be able to explore the town and just walk back to the hotel. The Frederick House was beautiful and romantic. The towels were plush, the aroom was peaceful and bautifully furnished and was spotlessly cleaned.
