We stayed in two lovely rooms in the Belle Grae Town House. It was comfortably furnished and spacious. I have been in many B & B's where you are squeezed into a small bedroom and then free to roam the house. In this case the space was wonderful! One of us could nap in the bedroom while the other enjoyed... more

What a disappointment! This could be a cool old house, but it is shabby and not kept up. The floors were in need of some repair and had not been swept, the rugs were dirty, and there was a smell of gas throughout the house. Too bad we didn't read the reviews before we booked. It just wasn't what you... more

We stayed here a few years ago and loved the ambience and the breakfast, but have never again booked a room due to the innkeeper’s high-pressure tactics. When I made the reservation and when we checked in, he tried to get us to have dinner there without offering any kind of discount, and then when we checked out he pressured... more

We where looking at staying here a few nights and had a reservation. My wife had done allot of research on the web and this place looked ok. We walked in and straight back out. They had black plastic bags shoved in the gaps between the windows and aircon. The cleaner had got half the room done and must have... more

We stayed late in September for two days. The place was charming, beautiful and clean. we were disappointed their ad said there was dining and there was none. The dinning Room was in the process of being opened. The old charm of the place was wonderful, you could almost feel your self back in time. They were Gay friendly and... more

Had a wonderful, relaxing 2 night stay at this classic inn. Loved the ambiance! Room was charming. Furniture old but in decent condition. Only complaint was that mattress was somewhat lumpy. Manager was very friendly. Meals were excellent. Chef was very friendly - came out of kitchen and talked to us for quite a while. Made for a very pleasant... more

I just spent three nights at the Inn and want to start on a positive note. Their new chef is very good and the food (only had breakfast and appetizers) was excellent. Sadly, we now move on to other matters. The inn itself isa faded version of a once lovely old house. I saw all of the rooms in the... more

Guests and relatives attending wedding receptions may at times not have the financial means to support a 2 night stay at a high end lodging facility. Requests for deep discounts on already discounted room rates upon departure, after no previous compaints, are not extended. Gross mistatements like "there's a roach in my soup" may occur when the discounts are not...

We bought rooms at this place for our parents as a christmas present. We were very excited to share with our parents the experience of staying in a bed and breakfast. We felt that a "select registry" place would be perfect during their visit. We wanted them to feel pampered, be able to relax, and enjoy themselves. Our first suspicion... more

We stayed at the Belle Gray Inn for two nights in August 2006. The decore was lovely and quaint. However, the front door did'nt open, nor were there any fire requlation certificates. The bed linen was dirty, but the bath was fine. Our major complaint was that the staff were rude - it is as simple as that; this contrasts... more
