My husband and I were looking to see Staunton for an extended weekend and this B&B looked like a good place to do so. It is only a few miles away from the city. Let me tell you, we were not disappointed. We were given a room in the barn on the bottom floor. The common area was gorgeous. They... More

The "Inn" has a lovely home, with glassed in area where the fabulous breakfast was served. The other, but fabulous accommodations are in a restored barn about 1000 ft behind the house. The barn rooms are beautifully furnished and have many casual antiques. There is a common room with TV as well as TV in the room. There are about... More

We stayed here for a quick one night get away and we were not disappointed. The rooms are very nice and the breakfast was delicious. It is about 5 -10 minutes from downtown staunton but a very easy drive. We stayed in the barn. Only negative is that you really could hear the water running from the room upstairs. They... More

My wife and stayed at the Inn on our drive from Pennsylvania to Kentucky. What a place for a stop-over. Eve, our host, was most welcoming and could not have bee more helpful. The accommodation (in the barn) was top notch and the breakfast and breakfast location set us up for a delightful drive across Virginia. We spent time in... More

The Inn is the perfect entry to skyline drive. We stayed in the newly renovated barn but would have been just as happy in the main house. The hostesses were wonderful and extremely helpful. I left behind a pair of glasses and they contacted me about them before I even realized they were gone, they were generous enough to ship... More

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn at Old Virginia. The staff was kind, very helpful, striving to meet our every need. The breakfast was beautifully served and was most delicious. We stayed in the house with a queen bed and the room was very nice. We loved our wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone.

We were first time guests at the Inn at Old Virginia last weekend, and what a treat! Staunton is a great little town, with wonderful restaurants, shops, entertainment (check out the Shakespeare Theater), and nearby wineries. The IOV is perfectly located - you feel like you're way out in the country, but historic Staunton is just 5 minutes away. The... More

Very nice B&B. Highly recommended. We stayed here just after Christmas 2013. Got a whirlpool suite room in the barn. In the winter with fireplace, it was absolutely perfect. Nice spacious room. Amazing tub. Very clean. Excellent beds (sleep number). We definitely plan to return here again next time we are in the area! Only caveat about the barn whirlpool... More

We stayed at Inn at Old Virginia for a weekend getaway from DC. It was wonderful, truly the best B&B! The breakfast is served in a beautiful atrium with nearly 360 degree views of the country side and the food is absolutely delicious!!! The staff is very friendly, definitely makes you feel welcome and comfortable. They anticipate your needs--there were... More
