We stayed two nights--October 20 and 21 for our Skyline Drive fall foliage getaway. The room was very clean and the staff was exceptional, and even the continental breakfast was above average. A good "passing through" hotel. Clean, friendly staff, OK breakfast, small indoor pool. Price is right. If I were staying in Staunton to spend time in the area, I would probably try to stay closer to downtown, but entering, leaving, or just passing through on I-81, I doubt there is a better value. Clean environment, friendly staff. Be aware RR runs down one side of the hotel. You might want to ask if you don't want to hear the trains in the early am to stay on the opposite side. Lots of options for breakfast, but it is served in avery small area with limited seating. More
