My boyfriend and stayed at the Inn for two nights in a huge attic room that was more like a suite. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was large and lovely. It's location is perfect and just a short walk from historic downtown. We didn't need our car during the trip. David the innkeeper is so gracious and... More

My husband and I recently stayed two nights at the inn. The beautiful original staircase and woodwork catches your eye when you enter. The third floor has rooms with private baths. The William Beverly room was large and yet cozy. We both thought the king size bed was very comfortable. David, the innkeeper, is friendly and helpful. He can guide... More

We were in Staunton to see the American Shakespeare Center and found the Olde Staunton Inn as a wonderful accompaniment to the weekend. Excellent, healthy breakfast and a large Victorian house in which to read and relax. Our room was clean and comfy and the host was gracious. Quiet and peaceful yet just two blocks to all the restaurants and... More

The Olde Staunton Inn is right where you want to be when you are in Staunton either for a while or just passing through as we were. Everything is right there. We will always stay here when we are headed south. From the second you step inside the beautifully restored lobby to the warm reception at check in. Our room... More

Staunton (pronounced "Stanton" for some reason) is a simply gorgeous place to visit - lovely people, cultural life and stunning surrounds. The Inn was well placed to explore this gem in Virginia. It is only a few minutes walk to the city centre and local services. It is also next door to the Staunton "Transport Hub" (actually a car-park behind... More

My husband planned a Christmas trip to New England to include 3 bed and breakfasts on our way from NC. This inn was our first stop and by far the best one. The inn was in a quiet area with plenty of parking close by. Our room and its furnishings were true to the 1910 vintage of the house. Our... More

I stumbled upon the Olde Staunton Inn while searching for a place to break up our trip. I couldn't be happier to have found this charming inn. Dave, our host, greeted us upon arrival, showed us the room, and made some dinner suggestions for us. We chose to walk to dinner, which was quite easy to do from the B&B.... More

We stayed overnight two non-consecutive nights around the Christmas holiday and enjoyed our stay very much. Our room was at the top of the Inn which did mean lots of stairs to climb but this wasn't an issue for us as we're both in good health and quite frankly welcomed the opportunity to stretch our legs after our 7 hour... We really enjoyed our stay. We slept in the William Beverly room which had a nice electric fireplace, jetted bathtub and king bed. The house is somewhat dated and is not necessarily 5-star accommodations everywhere, but it is very comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was amazing, fresh and hot, served by our gracious host. We would definitely come back if we... More

We had the upstairs bedroom towards downtown with the king size bed. The stairs were not difficult as some have complained about, but my wife and I are senior citizens and in good health. David did a very good job with breakfast and tried to make our stay a most pleasant one and he succeeded. We will certainly consider Olde... More
