We stayed here for two nights on a long weekend break to the area. It's just 5-10 minutes walk from the Town center which has great resturants, bars (incl brewery bar), and antiques shops to lose yourself in. The building it's a charming replica of a tudor cottage, you enter the main room which is homely, comfortable and english -... More

My fiancé and I went to Juliette's cottage for a quick getaway. We used the special the B&B offers with two tickets to the Shakespeare theater in Staunton and a nice in the charming Anne Hathaway's cottage. Our hostess was kind and friendly and made us feel very welcome. Our room was cozy and charming with a super-comfortable bed and... More

An amazing re-creation of a true English cottage complete with a thatched roof. Juliette was a very gracious host and her attention to detail was evident by all the little touches throughout the cottage. A beautiful garden also to enjoy even though it was towards the end of the season. Definitely would recommend this B&B to my friends. We were... More

What a very pleasant stay we had! Thank you so much for sharing your time with us, and this beautiful cottage and gardens, which YOU created from scratch! The winery tour was very enjoyable, with your facilitation and the lovely picnic lunch, (which you tailored to our low-carb preferences). We won't forget your kindness.

The Cottage is a wonderful little bit of England in a charming town. Juliette has thought of everything in recreating it. The fact that we were there on a rainy August night made it even more authentic. The grounds are beautiful, and the large common room very welcoming, with a portrait of the Queen to lend authenticity and decanters of... More

This B&B was such a pleasant surprise. Close to everything but feels like you are in the countryside of England. Juliette, the owner,is lovely. The breakfast was wonderful. We are big Shakespeare fans and this was like being in England without the flight. Only wish we had more time there to relax.

I found this B&B on trip advisor and was not disappointed. The cottage is built like an English cottage complete with a thatched roof. The room was very comfortable and clean and included a little porch. The gardens are beautiful and well kept. Breakfast was delicious. The owner was very friendly and helpful. It is located in downtown Stanton, so... More

Thanks for your nice comments. Actually you stayed in William's room! I bet there is a Shakespeare character called Thomas but he doesn't hang his hat at the cottage. More

Our weekend at Anne Hathaway's Cottage was a gift so we had no input in choosing the B&B. What a wonderful, surprising and unique home and gardens! Juliette was very warm and welcoming and we enjoyed talking with her over her great homemade breakfasts. The room was charming with our own balcony, fresh flowers, spacious bathroom and very comfortable bed.... More

Thank you for your nice comments. Yes, it is a hilly city and we don't get our bikes out too often. But a 15-20 walk to the center of town should be in the cards for most people as long as it is not over 90 degrees! More

What a lovely and special place and how lucky we feel that we were here but not long enough! Juliette is a charming, attentive and interesting "lady of the house" and it was a true pleasure meeting and spending time chatting. Amazing "Cottage" with so many special effects, delicious food and very welcoming atmosphere. Hoping we return soon and we'll... More

We had a lovely stay in Romeo's room - which I like because of the calming green tones. Nice, oversized bathroom, and a comfortable bed with lots of good reading at hand made for a great sleep. Tea and sherry and port available at all hours, which was nice to come back to after a dinner out. We walked to... More
