Accommodations superb. Hosts outstanding. Easy walking distance to local sights. Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway entrances nearby. Hike to Humpback Rock well worth the 40 minute hike. Arrived via Amtrak - station just a few blocks from Montclair. Mark &Sheri thank you for a wonderful stay and a memorable vacation.

Absolutely wonderful... My friend and I loved it!! The Victorian house is gorgeous. The owners were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The breakfasts were amazing!! I certainly will recommend the Montclair Bed and Breakfast with two thumbs up!! :-)

We stayed in the room with 2 twin beds, which also included use of a sitting room with a TV. Very nicely appointed, high beds, antiques. We had a claw foot tub in the shared bath. We didn't have to share, because the other room wasn't occupied. Historic brick home with lots of charm. The innkeepers were very friendly and... More

The hosts are simply charming and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. They also know a great deal about Staunton and the area, which they are happy to share. The house is beautiful. We had a suite of two bedrooms and and a sitting room. It was very comfortable with one small complaint. The... More

Staunton (pronounced "Stanton") is a most interesting town and the Montclair is the best place to stay whether you are there for the Shakespeare, the Mary Baldwin College, the Wilson Presidential Library, or just passing through. It is short walk to all of these features in Staunton. Parking on the street was easy, and we were given a "resident's guest sticker"... More

We stayed for one night, thoroughly enjoyed our stay, after reviewing all of the B&B's in staunton we settled on the Montclair because we liked what we read about the breakfast. We were not disappointed , the eggs benedict was superb!! Our hosts were fun, funny and engaging, excellent value. We will definitely return.

We stayed in the ground floor room--a queen bed, large room, lots of privacy, separate entrance, good lighting, very clean. The owners chatted with us at breakfast and gave us good recommendations for dinner. It's only a few blocks from the main commercial area ,near Mary Baldwin College. We would definitely go back if we visit Staunton again.

This was my first time staying in a bed and breakfast, so I have precious little to compare it to. That said, I could not imagine a better experience than the one my girlfriend and I had at Montclair Bed and Breakfast, which is a restored late 1800s home. The B&B is a small one, and felt like a well-kept... More

My husband and I decided at the last minute (the night before) to attend the Winter Wine Festival in Staunton in February 2012. Needless to say, we felt that finding accommodations would be tricky. We were relieved to find that Montclair B&B had vacancy. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised--it was nicer than we'd hoped! The innkeepers were extremely friendly... More
