Fine for an overnight trip, but I wouldn't stay longer than that. The rooms are small, and the bathroom arrangement is down-right scary. A word about booking through Expedia.com: DON'T!!!. Sleep Inn in Staunton is a basic place to stay. No frills, although Refrig and microwave in the room. Free breakfast in the morning is good with plenty of choices. Staff is friendly. Room cleanliness is average, has room for improvement, but acceptable. Location seems safe. You can go across the street for home style meals at reasonable prices. more

We planned to travel the Skyline drive on our Harley and enjoyed the room and the people at the hotel. Provided me with a very safe location behind the hotel in the parking lot which was overlooked by our room. Place was clean and big...love the shower...many places close to eat. Ended up here when the Hampton Inn up the interstate was booked solid. Room was average but clean. Front desk staff was very friendly and gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation in town. My only complaint was that the sliding doors for the toilet/shower need actual handles so you can close them all the way for some privacy! more

Hotel Was convient to stay at...close to charlottesville. WE arrived and out bathroom was covered in urine...commode/ floor....We asked the staff for another room...Of course they said they had none, I asked for a refund and they magically came up with one. After that no problems....Room was cleaned daily and appeared to be done so well. more
