Yes it is true! Mike and Sally, the owners are back and running the White Fence Bed and Breakfast once more, having been absent for six months. We would like to apologise to anybody who may have had any problems whatsoever with the management or service during their stay since May 1st. from our tenants, who have now been removed...
Clean rooms, quiet area. Rooms were beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the elephant-shaped rolled towels! :) Innkeepers are both great people who want to give you a great stay in their B&B. Looking forward to our next visit! more

Highly recommend!!! Very charming & comfortable atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious. Owners were friendly and accommodating. This peaceful little hideaway exceeded our expectations. Wedding Package was exquisite. Beautiful bouquet,boutonniere and delicious cake. Over 200 pics. all included. My husband and I stayed at the White Fence B&B for two nights this August. The carriage house cabin we stayed in was lovely, spacious, and comfortable. The jacuzzi tub was as good as advertised. Breakfast was nice and prompt at 9:00 am every day. The cottage we stayed in was very nice and large--an especially good value. Close to the Shenandoah National Park (15-20 min drive). I would recommend it to all travelers. more
Coming from DC my fiance and I wanted a quiet and romantic place to tie the knot and White Fence SUCCEEDED. Our elopement was magical. The propietors were very kind and accomodating. We always allow our guests flexibility when it comes to breakfast. We do breakfast at 9 am because people on a get away do not want to disturbed early. We we asked not to make breakfast for this guest because he was leaving early and was participating in a Triathalon in Luray. We would have been more then happy to...
Although the Shenandoah Suite was well decorated, we felt uncomfortable with squeaky floors and bed. Rules posted in the bathroom concerning the jacuzzi were way too constrictive. I am sorry this guest felt uncomfortable with us being out walking our dog, We do live on the property and we are out doing gardening, cleaning rooms etc so it is inevitable that we are going to run into guests. The house was built in 1845 and yes the stairs squeak, but there is nothing that I can do....
