We were so thankful to have found this delightful and secluded B&B! Our 3 days in the White Oak room were so peaceful and special. They pay so much attention to details and cleanliness, and have exceptional food. Don't think we could have found better, fresher, or healthier food anywhere! The breakfasts were wonderful and different each of our 3... More

Our daughter had to attend a leadership conference at JMU, and my husband and I needed a place to stay for the weekend. We've stayed at Virginia B&Bs before, most of which could have been featured on a show entitled, "Hoarders, Country Bed and Breakfast Style." I loathe B&Bs that are riddled with knick knacks, quilts, and blue ducks. Anyway,... More

We stayed here at the end of our trip up the Blue Ridge Parkway. Lovely place, and unlike so many boutique inns, you are not overwhelmed by American kitsch antiques. We had the Redbud room where you can wake up to a fine view of the Shenandoah Park. However, the breakfast is the thing, probably the best I have had... More

We enjoyed our stay at the inn and stayed in the Sumac room. The rooms were clean, the bed comfortable and the sheets were soft! we were greeted on arrival with a tour of the inn, a glass of wine! what a great place to relax. Deliciously prepared--- lots of food, but fantastically gourmet and very worth it. Our meal... More

This Inn is the best place we have ever stayed with-in the US. The food was incredible. You will not have a better breakfast anywhere else. My husband and I stayed in the cabin which is separate from the main Inn. We loved this cozy romantic place. From the moment you arrive when you are greeted with wonderful quality glass... More

During a last minute getaway, we spent a weekend at the William Cox Inn. When we first arrived, we noticed the spectacular views and the beautifully restored inn. We were promptly greeted by the innkeepers, who could not have been more kind. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast was phenomenal. We would definitely recommend this B&B!

We spent our five-year anniversary at the William Cox Inn. We were blown away by the stunning scenery on this magnificent property. The house itself is amazing--both the original 18th century farm house and the modern, luxurious addition. Our hosts were welcoming and gracious in every way. We were greeted with glasses of wine from a local vineyard and invited... More

My girlfriend and I just returned from enjoying a wonderful weekend at the William Cox Inn. On past trips, we've stayed at B&B's a bit closer to Lexington, and while they were great in their own away, this was definitely the best of all of them. Tom and Janet are 2 of the nicest people you'll ever meet. They made... More

I just wanted to take the time to give William Cox Inn a rave review. Not only was the inn beautiful, it was VERY comfortable to sleep! The back porch had a beauiful uninterupted view of the mountains. Perfect for our romantic weekend away. Bring your appetites as well. A very hearty and wonderful breakfest ensues a comfortable night's rest.

The breakfast that Mr. & Mrs. Call prepared for us was exceptional. They were also very friendly and personable. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves so much that we are planning our next trip.
