We only stayed at this location for one night but we were very pleased with our staff. Check-in was quick and painless. Our room was very clean. We especially loved the wood flooring instead of the usual cold tile and the great desk chair. The desk made me want to pack it up and take it home. Plenty of storage... more

I made the reservation over a month in advance, I arrived at 9:30 pm, and they said they were full and moved me to another hotel. They paid for the room, but I still wasn't happy. If you book this hotel, make sure you have a backup plan. more

I booked this hotel through Marriott.com and the reservation made no bones about the room: "No View." Travelling to Virginia for the tourist sites in Washington and nearby, I had no use for a hotel that had a view anyway! Springfield TownePlace suites is a solid hotel/motel: friendly desk assistance, a decent breakfast including hot cereal, boiled eggs, all sorts... more

I was there while remodeling was under way, very nice management and rooms and location are great. Be sure to visit "Mike's American Grill" for dinner, try the "Drunken Ribeye" its in my top 50 and I travel a bunch! more

Comfortable beds, clean rooms, friendly and accomodating staff. Have stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. Good complimentary breakfast, although the breakfast room fills up fast. This one is a winner in my book! more

The Towne Place Suites by Marriott exceeded my expectations. The women at the check-in desk were helpful, warm and efficient. When I realized I had forgotten some toiletries, they were quick to offer toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant and more all for free. The rooms (set up as studios with stove, fridge, dishwasher and sinks) were impeccably clean and smelled fresh.... more

I stayed at the Marriott TownPlace Suites in Springfield, Virginia on May 9, 2007. The experience was fine, and I will stay here again, but there is no way this is a 4.5 star rating hotel as TripAdvisor reports. Sure, it’s cheap, and its OK, but it’s just a solid 3 - perhaps 3.5 in the hotel universe. Unfortunately my... more

I have stayed long term here several times. It is very consistently a winner in terms of quality and pricing. Springfield is home of the I-95 "Mixing Bowl" - not exactly the sexy destination of hotel choices... BUT... it is very convenient for commuting into DC and gives you far better pricing on hotels. Tops among the area hotels are... more

Our 2 bedroom/1bath suite was very clean. For a family of 4 we had enough room to feel comfortable. Both rooms and living room had a TV. The small kitchenette was complete along with dishwasher and microwave. The living room sofa also has a pull out bed. The windows are double-double paned (yes 2 sets of windows) to block out... more

We were very pleased with the room that we got. Everything was immaculately clean and the hotel itself looks fairly new. The staff was very helpful and courteous throughout our 6 day stay. The full kitchen came in very handy as well as access to barbeque grills and a very clean laundry facility. Excellent for a family trip. It was... more
