I've stayed at this hotel twice, once when it was a Redroof Inn. The first time, no problems. Great value for the money. 50 bucks per night in the Metro DC area with free wifi. What could go wrong? Here's what. On my second trip, in October, I rode the elevator to the 4th floor and was greeted by a... more

This hotel was great. The price was very good and the staff was super friendly. Anytime I asked them for directions they always had a printed out mapquest with the directions. My only complaint is the motel website and reservations office confirmed there was wireless internet access at the location. When I checked in I immediately checked for internet access... more

Save your money. This hotel was awful. It smelled, was dirty and the staff were not helpful. I will never stay here again! more

We selected this hotel because they took pets. That is the only reason. The hotel is located right next to the interstate, the parking lot sits almost under the overpass. The lobby is tiny and shabby and the desk clerk was unfriendly and rushed. The rooms are hideous. Decorated in what I would call circus colors, the linens were ratty... more

Don't book a smoking room. The room stunk, as did the entire hallway. We chose the hotel because of the low price, pets allowed, and location next to I-95 (literally!). We checked in at 1:30AM (thankfully the hotel desk runs 24 hours). We were too exhausted to switch rooms. Between the smell and the barely functioning toilet, we couldn't wait... more

Just got back from a 4 night stay at the Red Roof Inn, Springfield VA and have no complaints. This is NOT A LUXURY PROPERTY so if you want to be pampered, sleep on fine linens, swim, or have a nice view THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. However, the hotel is clean, cheap (we paid $80 per night... more

I was visiting the Washington DC area for a convention, but arrived early to see the city with some friends. We booked rooms at the Red Roof Inn due to it's lower cost and the proximity to the Metro Rail Line. While this is a decent hotel, it does come with a few problems. The smoking rooms, normally segregated to... more

Red Roof Inn, Springfield, VA The Red Roof Inn in Springfield is on Springfield Blvd, off of Backlick Rd. The front of the hotel faces one of the horrendous looking ramps of the Springfield interchange and the back faces a parking lot, but we didn't notice any traffic noise. The Springfield Mall and several local stores and restaurants are nearby.... more

I reserved 8 rooms for my small group...and we really enjoyed our stay. It was a quiet and clean hotel. The staff was very helpful. Room service did a very good job. It's at a hard intersection in the highway so make sure you get good directions from the exit. It's about a 5 minute drive to the Metro Station... more
