Stayed at this Courtyard number of times. Food was good, recent trip food declined sharply. We will not eat there again. We are going to seek other options.

We stayed here because we were meeting friends who lived nearby. Normally, we wouldn't stay in a place costing nearly $200 a night, but we expected that at least we would have a good experience. Wrong. Our room had been heated to about 90 degrees when we got in. There was no luggage rack, and the refrigerator didn't work. My... More

My teenage daughter and I found ourselves needing to travel to the Alexandria area for a family emergency. We stayed 2 nights and overall the hotel was clean, welcoming, and our room was nice.We didn't check in until 1:30am the first night. Unfortunately we had some teenagers overhead that required us to call down to the manager 3 times and... More

I'm usually not picky with hotels when it comes to business. After all, the company's paying, right? This hotel, however, was pretty poor and I would not recommend anyone to stay here unless they absolutely had to. The room I stayed in was decent with 2 queen-sized beds, a work desk, drawer + TV, and bathroom. The bed was pretty... More

I found myself at this place for the Sanity rally. The hotels closer to the center of town had filled up - or were very expensive. It shouldn't be your first choice for a DC tourist visit - but if you need to be in the area it is a good choice. There is a Metro station about a mile... More

First I'll start out by saying the people who work at this hotel were always friendly and courteous. The service was also there, no lack of effort for trying. Rooms were clean, a little dated but clean. The location for this hotel was just bad, confusing for people not familiar with D.C. Our garmin had a tough time getting us... More

Having lived in the Washington, DC area, I love Springfield because it is close to the city yet has the feel of a small city in the heartland. And the Springfield Courtyard looks just like one you'd find in any small town -- not the high rise you'd see elsewhere in the metro. Unlike most Washington-area hotels, this one does... More

No complaints with the hotel except for the price. The location is good, the food is good, the evening bar tender was helpful and nice. I wont likely stay there again, but this again is solely based on the cost of the rooms.

Very nice hotel. Close enough to D.C, unfortunately not near a metro station at all. Rooms were very clean and well kept. Lobby was under renovation at the time, so front desk service was obviously lacking a bit. Overall, I would stay there again, for sure!

Really nice front desk people. Rooms are small and the airconditioner loud (and blows directly on the desk area -- had to cover it up to work there). The guide to services has an entry for "dining" but it points you to a list of local fast food places. Looks like they've just added some kind of eating facility in... More
