The reason I love Hampton Inn hotels... because you always know what you are going to get. This one is no exception. Nice location, great price (at least the nights I stayed). I enjoy staying at Hampton Inns. On the whole, they are predictable, stable and comfortable. This one fit the bill. My room was large, a king with a couch, small fridge, microwave. We just returned from our trip to DC. We stayed 5 nights at the Springfield, VA Hampton Inn because of its location (about 12 miles from DC, and right off the highway) and price. One of the best Hamptons Inns I have stayed at. Great staff and always helplful and friendly. Close to Metro station for transportion to the Washington D.C. sites with free shuttle service to the station which is close. An excellent feee breakfast buffet. No pool or spa at this location. more
