The inn itself is a beautiful historic building that's been restored with simple elegance--avoiding the pitfalls of so many bed and breakfasts that become overly ornate and kitschy. This is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast in a quiet, small town with some galleries and restaurants. Very near national parks and hiking. We stayed only one night at Hopkins Ordinary (all they had available) while passing through the area. It's a historic inn, thoroughly updated, and professionally run. Sherri was extraordinarily helpful with suggestions for local hiking, sightseeing, next night reservations, and dinner reservations. We'll definitely be back for a longer stay next time. More
