My fiance and I just stayed at Hopkins over the weekend and had a great time. The b&b is an old hotel from the 1800's they converted into a bed and breakfast. If only the walls could talk, these would have so much to say. Kevin and Sherry are absolutely the perfect inn keepers, think they were always meant to... More

Kevin was a great host and had plenty of tips for fun things to do and places to eat in the area. The beer tasting was a great added perk. Breakfast was delicious and the service was excellent. We will be back!

This is our 5th or 6th time back to Hopkins for a girl's weekend. Kevin and Sherry at Hopkins always help us find amazing things to do and make arrangements for wine tasting. The Inn itself is lovely and breakfast is always worth getting up for. We have gone back again and again for a reason and the place never... More

My wife and I had a wonderful time on our little weekend get-a-way and a lot had to do with this great little gem! The room was cozy and clean and the breakfast was extremely delicious. We will be telling all our friends about it

We had a great stay here. After hiking Old Rag all day (in 20 degree weather) we were ready to check in and get warm. We were greeted by Sherri as soon as we walked in. Our room (Lavender) was ready right on time. We helped ourselves to AMAZING homemade chocolate chip cookies and headed right upstairs. The room was... More

My wife and I stayed two nights at the Hopkins for our 25th wedding anniversary celebration and had a really nice time. Sherri and Kevin were great hosts and the inn was great - clean, comfortable, inviting and central to the many activities available in Sperryville and Rappahannock County. Sherri is a wealth of knowledge and ideas about what to... More

We stayed here this past weekend and it was absolutely beautiful in the snow. Sherri and Kevin were very warm and welcoming. They have their own brewery (with great beer!) with tasting room in the basement, and the inn is close to a restaurant and distillery. It's also not a far drive from Skyline Drive and Luray, and the Inn... More

This was our second time to stay here, and we have already booked our next visit. Kevin and Sherri are wonderful hosts, and go above and beyond to make your stay memorable and special. This B&B is very clean, beautifully and tastefully decorated, and quiet. We have stayed in two of the rooms. The Lavender Room is spacious, with a... More

Our relaxing three-day weekend began even before we arrived when Kevin and Sherri had made reservations at the spa, recommended hikes in the Shenandoahs (Old Rag, Little Devil, and Buck Hollow), and suggested local restaurants. When we arrived, there was a plate of cheese and a bottle of wine waiting for us in front of the parlor fireplace. Sherri's cookies... More

Perfect cabin by the river, cute, clean, enough space for a small family. Greeted with cookies and coffee. Can't wait to go back and try the beer!! The pub across the road is a lot of fun with a fancy antique shop! The host local events. The yoga studio across the road is lead by a fun passionate instructor. The... More
