I thought the property was well kept. I don't think the value is that great. You can stay in similar hotels and be served a free hot breakfast. This place was charging ~$8.00 for a similar breakfast that you would get for free. The rooms were clean and comfortable. more

My seventy-five year old mother and I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Salem Virginia for the night of Tuesday, October 7th, 2008. When making our reservations online, we requested a room on the top floor, away from the elevator and the Interstate, and we received a room on the third floor (of four) right in front of the elevator... more

First hotel on our 2,000-mile, 11-day roadtrip (me, hubby and his 95-year-old father), and how delightful was this??? We were graciously received, and the rooms were fine, as prevoiusly reviewed, but the big surprise was the quality of the dinner, given our spoiled NYC taste buds. I had one of the finest filet mignons ever, and the freshly sauteed veggies... more

This is one of the "new breed" of Holiday Inns, and definitely one of the better places to stay along the I-81 corridor in the Roanoke area. The hotel is new, and rooms are large and nicely appointed - bathrooms have granite countertops and tile floors. Bed was very comfortable. Free high-speed internet in rooms. Full bar and small restaurant... more

I stayed here on business, and just expected your average hotel. What a surprise! The hotel is well appointed - with pool, gym, restaurant with room service. My room was spacious with new furnishings, comfortable bed and pillows, granite in the bathroom and mini-kitchen area. The staff was very friendly and suggested a great Italian place down the road -... more

The room was adequate and relatively clean. The restuarant was convenient and inexpensive. Everyone who works there was very helpful and friendly. We were very pleased for the money with both the hotel and the food. Easy to get to from the interstate. The room was very noisy because a softball team was staying there so there was banging doors,... more

Our softball team booked several rooms here on two seperate weekends this month due to local tournaments. On both weekends families were randomly overcharged on the room rates and this had to be corrected at the front desk. Also, on both weekends the hotel ran out of clean towels! In addition, rooms were not cleaned by the time we should've... more
