I stayed at Wendys B & B for 2 nights in early May with my husband and parents. We had the most wonderful time. Wendy made us fell very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The food was devine - high tea - raspberry charlotte , cheese on toast, homemade cookies - and breakfast - heavenly quiche lorraine- and... more

This is a sweet Inn full of southern charm.Wonderful food and nice rooms with comfy linens and soft towels. Loved the claw footed tub. Very close to the historic downtown Central square market. Inn keeper Wendy was very sweet and hospitable. Afternoon tea was a delight. more

If you were to live one day over and over again as Bill Murray did in "Ground Hog's Day" you might want to choose to spend it at the Rose Hill B&B. What an incredible job Wendy has done in restoring this home to it's 100 year old charm and so much more! With all the personal attention given to... more

The house is beautiful with special touches throughout. Wendy is a warm and gracious host. She serves afternoon tea (homemade goodies) and a gourmet breakfast on lovely china and silver. Again, special touches that make you feel very pampered. I highly recommend staying here as it was one of the best b&b I have experienced. more

I've been to B&Bs and pensions around the world and this is top of the list -- worth the drive to Roanoke just for the experience. This was my boyfriend's first B&B. The place was so beautiful and homey and full of good food that I'm afraid to take him anywhere else now -- Wendy has invented her own standard!... more

This place is absolutely terrific. It's a beautiful home that was built in 1910, so it is full of charm and character! It was absolutely immaculate, and at the same time warm. Wendy Blair is a great hostess, and a wonderful cook. Check in early to get the High Tea. Breakfast is a multi-course meal at Rose Hill. One of... more

My wife and I stayed here one night when we attende a function in Roanoke. The B&B is nicely restored and well kept. The owner, Wendy Blair, was born to run a B&B. She made us feel welcome form the start, even when we requested an early check in so that we could dress for the wedding we were attending.... more

We have enjoyed B & B's for about two years in the Mid-Atlantic area and the Rose Hill is at the top of our list. Our host, Wendy, made us feel at home the moment we stepped on her great front porch. The old home had been beautifully restored with period furniture and a wonderful view of Highland Park across... more
