We stayed 1 night in Septmber, Wendy was extremely welcoming & the room great, especially the attention to deail. There was absolutely everything we needed & more. Wendy is really friendly & the breakfast was lovely. We've stayed in many bed & breakfast's in various parts of the US & this was one of the best. more

Wendy Blair epitomizes how pride of ownership wins out over "staff" in a business every time. As she will tell you herself, the bed and the food have to be outstanding in a place called a "Bed and Breakfast". She far more than achieves this. Her attention to detail is fantastic, and she is a multi-talented artist. Staying at Rose... more

We stayed at Rose Hill Bed and Breakfast while in town for a wedding. It was a great location overlooking Highland Park, and a easy walk to one of our favorite restaurants, The Wildflour Cafe. Wendy is a wonderful hostess and an incredible cook. We stayed two nights and the breakfast both days exceeded all our expectations. The value for... more

This is one of the best overnight stays I have had - if not the best. Wendy is the perfect hostess, the house is classic and welcoming and the porch may be one of my favourite places. The rooms were immaculate, the food was immense - what a breakfast! Wendy and her co-star Loxi were great fun to be around... more

The beds are pristine, the breakfast is excellent, the hostess (Wendi) very nice and welcoming. The whole house is like a giant piece of artwork. It is very unique, interesting, and entertaining to stay even for a night. (Rob & Natasha) more

If you were to live one day over and over again as Bill Murray did in "Ground Hog's Day" you might want to choose to spend it at the Rose Hill B&B. What an incredible job Wendy has done in restoring this home to it's 100 year old charm and so much more! With all the personal attention given to... more

The house is beautiful with special touches throughout. Wendy is a warm and gracious host. She serves afternoon tea (homemade goodies) and a gourmet breakfast on lovely china and silver. Again, special touches that make you feel very pampered. I highly recommend staying here as it was one of the best b&b I have experienced. more

I've been to B&Bs and pensions around the world and this is top of the list -- worth the drive to Roanoke just for the experience. This was my boyfriend's first B&B. The place was so beautiful and homey and full of good food that I'm afraid to take him anywhere else now -- Wendy has invented her own standard!... more
