I stayed at the MainStay Suites while on business in the Roanoke area. While the hotel is in the flight line for the airport, it didn't keep me up at night. The rooms are well insulated and quiet. The kitchen is well appointed, with a full fridge, microwave, and sink. These suites aren't very family friendly, as there is no separate room - it is just one large area.

Pros:
- Quiet
- Nice bathroom and kitchen
- Nice bed

Cons:
- No formal desk/work area (used the bar in the kitchen area instead)
- Other furniture (loveseat and chair) was not very comfortable
- Continental breakfast was subpar, even for a chain hotel, and not well serviced

If you're a business traveler (which is what I usually am), then I recommend this hotel. If you have a large family looking for a suite with a separate bedroom, you should look somewhere else.
