We spent a night at the Inn on Campbell last week and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The Inn is located near the center of activity in downtown Roanoke as well as within easy walking distance to the Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center. Our hosts, Cindy & Keith Hummer, were gracious and very helpful. They were delightful companions for afternoon wine... More

My husband and I spent three nights at this lovely inn. The hospitality is unsurpassed with everything one could possibly need in the room as well as fantastic breakfasts each day. The whole inn is just beautiful and so warm and welcoming. Cindy and Keith are wonderful hosts and are willing to make suggestions and reservations as needed. We especially... More

My husband and I spent two nights at the Inn on Campbell recently on our way back home after seeing the W&M vs JMU football game and visiting our son at Virginia Tech. Even before the trip, Cindy was extremely helpful, recommending places to stay in the Blacksburg area, and changing our reservation when our schedule changed. We received a... More

We stayed with Cindy and Keith for 3 nights and it was pure delight. Not only the beautiful room, with more than everything one needs, but also their hospitality, helpfulness and fantastic breakfast are unbeatable. It made our stay in Roanoke most memorable and we will certainly come back if only to stay in The Inn~

Thanks to a last minute cancellation by a U.S. Senator we had the good fortune to experience the wonderful hospitality of Cindy and Keith Hummer at The Inn on Campbell. We arrived just in time for "wine therapy" - a welcome treat after a long drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway. After an excellent dinner at Lucky Bistro, recommended by... More

Wow! From the moment Keith and Cindy greeted us with "wine therapy" (a tasty wine and cheese welcome) to their spot-on recommendation for a delicious dinner (we went to Metro!), everything was perfect. Keith gave us a personal tour of the property, pointing out all the impressive improvements he's made to the historic building. And throughout we saw Cindy's charming... More

Cindy & Keith Hummer have created a lovely oasis in historical downtown Roanoke. The accomodations are first class with beautifully appointed and stylish guestrooms. They have taken all of their guests' possible needs into consideration. The public areas - sitting room, dining room and kitchen are welcoming and tastefully designed. Their hospitality exceeds expectations with delicious breakfasts and lively discussions... More

An elegant, character B&B. Great host and homely feel - from the warm cookies on arrival to the evening cheese and wine reception and the freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast - this Inn has got it right.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Kathy was a great hostess while the innkeepers were out of town. The pictures on the website do not show the true elegance and beauty that is everywhere you look. The beds were soooo soft and comfortable. We stayed in the Kirk Alley Suite and enjoyed our private hot tub in the adjoining garden... More

What an amazing find! From the moment we arrived, everything was truly perfect! Cindy and Keith are so warm, friendly, and fun, and made us feel like old friends. When we arrived after a four-hour drive from the Northern Virginia area for our two-night stay, Keith showed us around and gave us a bit of history of the inn and... More
