The King George Inn is a jewel of a place . We stayed one night while in route to Asheville. A brick Georgian mansion with huge rooms and baths. I loved this B&B and the hosts (Lynn and Jim) were very gracious and attended to our every need. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone sightseeing in the Roanoke area... More

The King George Inn is located on a quaint, quiet street in the historical area of Roanoke. Upon entering the huge Mansion we were immediately greeted by the ever so lovely Lynn. We had driven quite some time that day and were so grateful to have Jim and Lynn look after us immediately. We were offered complimentary bottled water and... More

Jim and Lynn Hunt offer the most amazing hospitality! The whole place is beautiful! Gourmet Breakfast can't be beat! Would recommend for people traveling to Virginia Tech football games, parent's weekends, orientation, graduation, etc. This is so much better than staying in Blacksburg. It is just a 40 minute drive into Blacksburg. We would love to visit again soon!

This is a beautiful B&B located in a quiet neighborhood in Roanoke. This was our first visit to both the inn and Roanoke, and felt very welcomed. The owners, Lynn and Jim, a personable and very accommodating. They work very hard to provide a relaxing stay. The rooms are beautifully decorated and extremely quiet. The breakfasts are well presented and... More

Stayed here with friends about six months ago and we all loved it. Brought other three friends this time and they feel in love with the place, as well as innkeepers Jim and Lyn and you simply cannot beat the price!

While I am not generally a Bed & Breakfast person, my wife and I stopped here in the course of traveling through the area and found the King George Inn be very nice and the price was quite reasonable. The innkeepers, Lynn and Jim, met us at the door, made a concerted effort to remember our names and after showing... More

The King George is a trip back in time to a period of elegance. Walking down the stair case is an experience in itself. The architecture of this home is a demonstration of superior quality. The rooms are airy and spacious. The sheets are delightfully fragrant. The hosts Lynn and Jim were very gracious and welcoming sharing a glass of... More

My family stayed at the King George in early February 2015. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They took into consideration dietary restrictions (one vegetarian), a late arrival, and gave great recommendations for restaurants in the area. The breakfast was a revelation (in a good way). The rooms cozy, luxurious, and exceedingly clean. Hot water in the showers never... More

My husband and I made our first trip to Roanoke, VA, with the Blue Ridge Parkway as our goal. We looked for a lovely B&B that would bring us into the city, had an excellent reputation, and would be close to the Parkway. We found exactly what we wanted with the King George Inn. The off street parking was so... More
