Bad customer service: guy kept me on hold for six minutes before I finally hung up and tried to call back- three times. No answer. I needed directions! It was a beautiful day, but the heat was on in our room so it was stifling. Not the worst place I've ever stayed, but I'll probably pay $10 or $20 more... More

My husband and I were in town visiting friends, needed a cheap place to stay. This place is nothing fancy, but it was clean, quiet, and the bed was comfy. I went out for breakfast so I didn't see what they offered. We didn't have our dogs on this trip, but it is dog-friendly. Service was friendly and fast. Only... More

This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. It was filthy and smelled rancid. The front desk agents were not only disinterested, but actively rude. The room was either frigid or boiling, requiring us to get up every hour to turn the heater on and off. But this review will be short because our main... More

I do not chose where I stay, it's up to my company. I'll start with saying positive things about this place. The folks at the front desk are very friendly and courteous. There is easy access to I581. There are a few places to eat within walking distance. Now for the bad.... The faucet on the sink had a bad... More

Stayed here for a week. The room was clean and comfortable, but could use a little refurbishing. The staff was friendly. Breakfast had the added bonus of hard-boiled eggs; which was a good thing, since the cereal was definitely an off brand and I could not eat it. My only complaint was a serious lack of electrical outlets and there... More

Friendly, helpful staff. Tidy with clean sheets & towels, but rather grubby furnishings in the room. Better breakfast than expected. Suitable for an budget overnight stay, and offers the advantage of being close to the interstate network.

Four of us took two rooms in this Rodeway which is a standard budget place in central Roanoke. Easily the cheapest hotel on our tour we got exactly what we paid for and not a thing more. Clean and tidy enough but far from spotless as someone has said. It is right on a busy junction so don,t count on... More

I spent one night in this motel with my husband. The room was immaculately clean, all the equipment worked no problem, the price was very budget-friendly and the staff at the front desk were also helpful. Breakfast was OK with unlimited eggs, the first non-carb option we had in days. I can recommend it for a short stopover.

The bath's drainage was clogged and you had to shower in a "pool"; we found a couple of bugs in the room and the overall feeling was of a sleazy motel. Even though it was cheap you can expect better than that, especially when just as you enter your room a guy walks into the room next to you with... More

This Rodeway Inn needs some work. Half the lights and the bathroom fan didn't work. There was cracked tile in the bathroom. The room was clean and close to the civic center. There was a pile of old mattresses by the garbage bins so maybe they are in the middle of an upgrade
