This hotel does not meet the Wyndham chain standards. Hotel needs a new owner and manager. Looks like a runned down facility. The check in area looked great, but the way to the room is full of trip hazards and apperance puts fears on the traveler of what is around the corner and the room. The cement on corridors was... Probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Staff did a very good job trying to help but they do not have much to work with here. Old, dilapidated property. I'm surprised it is still a Ramada. Average breakfast. AC not working in our room. Switched to another room but door lock broke on our original room and we could... More

I was given room 305. The carpet was soaked, and the room stunk of urine. I asked to be moved. The manager was helpful. She came with me. Room 112 also had a soaked carpet but no smell. Room 313 had a dry carpet so I took that. The TV worked fine. The hot water system was fine. The tub... More

This is one of hte worst hotels I have ever stayed in! It was filthy and disgusting. We had our two teen daughters with us and wouldn't give us a double bed room so we rented another room. It was on the other side of the hotel and one story up. The room they put us in smelled like cigarette... More

I am sorry your stay was less than satisfactory. We were sold out for the Commonwealth Games or else we would have moved your room to be close to your daughters. I am stumped as to why the nonsmoking room smelled of smoke. Might be someone smoking in a nonsmoking rooms which happens sometimes. Please try us again in the... More

Scumhole....looked great at check-in but we got to our room. Very worn appearance but we were exhausted. It did have clean sheet and towels (I have to say something nice). We were rudely woken at 6 AM by a crew of Mexican migrant workers being loud and obnoxious...While walking to the door I got my feet wet (ewwwwww nasty) as... More

Thank you for taking the time to post your opinion. I am sorry our other guests disturbed you during your stay. We had a large Electrical Recovery group stay with us to help restore power to the area after the massive storms in beginning of July knocked out power to the whole town. Many spanish workers were part of the... More

We stayed one night before going on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The location was nice and the trail along the river was nice. Breakfast was ok, just average. But the hotel room was old and dingy, with a low ceiling in the bathroom with cigarette burns on the bathroom sink(in a non-smoking room). But our biggest complaint was that only... More

we stayed there from July 1-3 2 days too long. and the only reason why we stayed that long was because West VA just had a horrible storm and they were without power for a while and all the other hotels were booked. we are avid travelers and this hotel was by far the worst and dirtiest. first impression is... We booked this room after 5 days without power in the sweltering summer. Although the air conditioning was so very welcome, and the hotel lobby was set up beautifully, it was not at all representative of the hotel itself. The halls and balconies were poorly lit, dirty, with broken tiles and decay very evident. You could see the street below... More

I would like to address and respond to a few points. As there were massive storms which no one was prepared for, we were unprepared initially but soon got enough staff in to help clean up the dirt & debris that the storms brought with it. If there were any cracked floor tiles I can assure you they have been... More

Initially attracted by the low price and good TA reviews, we soon realized that we got what we paid for. Scary, dirty, old and smelly. Pluses: Very friendly staff and a river walk very near the hotel that was perfect for traveling with a dog.

Title says it all! Run down and dirty. toilet is barely functional. AC leaks on carpet. Lights only work occasionally. We have a block of rooms and all are about the same.
