I realise that hotels in Northern Virginia/DC metro area can be expensive and when the Homestead was consistently less than $80/night (and an awful lot newer than it is now) it was just about acceptable. Stayed here over the weekend. Got a great rate of under $44.00 from the hotels website. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing I noticed was a little mold in the bathtub.
