My husband and I spent two nights at this wonderful property. Although we live only a little over two hours away, the bucolic setting near quaint Reedville felt a million miles away from our everyday existence. Marguerite is warm and passionate about the area, providing guests with information on the background of the area, as well as great places to... More

If you want a fabulous setting, a home that feels like it is yours, fabulous breakfasts and comfy beds....Fleeton is it. The garden suite offers the option if you don't want stairs. Very quite setting and a wonderful place for cocktails in the garden watching the boats. Location great for seeing the Neck, walks, cycling. The breakfasts are Fabulous and... More

My husband and I live in DC and were looking for the perfect getaway. Fleeton Fields ended up meeting our expectations and more. Less than a three hour drive, we found ourselves in one of the most beautiful locations. Right on the Chesapeake Bay, the afternoons were filled with the sounds of birds and water. There are a variety of... More

Thank you so much for such an amazing review, you guys were so wonderful, and brought such charm and interest. You and Brian said that it felt like home, that would be the highest praise. I'm glad you are settling into DC, continually finding new things in the city, and hope that you will return sometime very soon. Marguerite More

My husband and I just spent a wonderful weekend at Fleeton Fields . The house itself is beautifully situated by the water, surrounded by abundant flowering trees, fragrant shrubs and dainty daffodils. Birdsong fills the air and provides the perfect background music for peaceful relaxation. Marguerite is a wonderful host. Knowing so much about the area, she has endless suggestions for... More

Wow, how lucky were we to find this place!! My husband had to work in Reedville for about 3 weeks from 17 January until 5 February. I wanted to join my husband with our Golden Retriever for the Martin Luther King Weekend. So I searched for a B&B in the area that would allow our dog. My husband was going... More

I couldn't get over how difficult your husband's work was in the cold and especially traveling on the water in a small boat. You guys were wonderful, and I'm so glad you got to spend time with him here while he was working. I wish he needed to come back to work:), but since that project is complete, I hope... More

This is a wonderful place to stay if you're visiting the historic Reedville area. Marguerite is a wonderful hostess, and the breakfasts were probably the best I've had at a B&B ever. Just scrumptious! She is very gracious: the second morning I was there, another couple turned down just about everything as they were allergic to/didn't like/didn't feel like/whatever, and... More

Hi, I am so sorry to write a late reply, please know it is not reflective of my appreciation for such a detailed review, thank you so very much for taking the time. I have been struggling with the idea of locks on the room doors for awhile, whether to introduce keys for each room, locks for only when inside,... More

Marguerite is a wonderful hostess very knowledgable about the area. We enjoyed the gourmet breakfasts she prepared each day. The atmosphere is casual, and the location is perfect for a retreat. We tried the Trick Dog Cafe in a nearby town and were very happy with the dinner. We look forward to returning to Fleeton Fields again.

Highly recommend this b&b. Margarite is a PERFECT hostess. We called her last minute for a place to stay on a Saturday night and we took her last available room. She was very friendly and helpful in places to eat, things to do, etc. The place itself comfortably sleeps its guests and we had our own private wing that was... More

I love sitting out on the point at night, and was glad it wasn't raining that day, as the spring and summer have been so wet! My husband and I had the most incredible stay at Fleeton Fields B & B. The location was perfect to just sit and appreciate the beauty that abounds on the property. Bridget and Chet, you were as much fun! You are exactly the reason I love running this B&B. But, the key to a wonderful stay is truly what you brought with you . . . which is interest, joy, curiousity, and a sense of adventure. I hope to see you guys again soon! I will try to arrange for John... More

Greetings Marguerite, Carolyn and I had a wonderful one night and regret that we could not stay another night or two. Your website photos do not exaggerate the beauty of the setting and your home. You definitely have a green thumb. I am tempted to say your history lesson of the region was the highlight, but I must settle for... More
