We stayed in The Gables in Reedville last Friday night. The room as another reviewer mentioned is in the Coach house. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. WiFi was available. There is no TV service though there is a TV in the rooms with DVD's available to watch. We used the WIFI to watch a movie on our Kindle... More

We have family in the Reedville area and wanted to stay somewhere affordable nearby because there was a full house and discovered The Gables after doing some research online. Fully met our expectations. Barbara and her husband were warm and friendly and good-humored, making us feel at home. Her buttery French toast was delicious, and was served with sausage links,... In general we had a very nice experience, but be advised: you won't be staying in the charming gabled mansion in the photo. All B&B rooms are in the "Coach House" or another auxiliary building. All the B&B rooms are nicely decorated in Victorian style, as is the breakfast room, but the outside of the Coach House is quite plain-Jane.... More

My husband and I went to Reedville for business and planned on extending our stay for the weekend to explore the Northern Neck. We ended up having to leave a day early due to my husbands work demands and the Inn Keeper Ms. Barbra couldn't have been nicer about the situation. We stayed in the "Coach House" our room was... We were traveling up the Bay by sailboat and found the Gables a great place to stop. The house has it's own dock which was easy to get into/out of. We booked a room for the night and ended up staying 2 because of weather. We got a wonderful tour of the original house by the owner and superb breakfasts... More

This B&B in the small Bay town of Reedville delivers large on charm and comfort. We stayed in the converted "Coach" House Inn" along with another couple traveling with us. Upon arrival when checking in, we were afforded to opportunity to tour the 3 rooms on the second floor and found all of them very well appointed. Each had a... More

After picking my daughter up at Dulles, we decided to explore Virginia's Northern Neck. We spent the first night at the Marriott Fairview Park in Falls Church (an above average hotel in comfort and price) and then wended our way down to Reedville to spend the night in order to visit Tangier Island the next day. The Gables is a... More

We had a delightful two-night stay at the Gables. Everything was clean and welcoming. Plenty of clear views of the water, but most interesting was observing a nest of Ospreys visible even from our bedroom window. Barbara, the propriator was more than willing to share with us the history of the place and gave us a guided tour of the... More

The town of Reedville markets itself on being very historic, which is emulated by this bed and breakfast. There are three buildings in which you can stay; two more modern and one, 100 year old house. We stayed in the main modern building but we got a tour of the old house. This family has poured their lives into the... More
