Our stay here was wonderful. The owners made us feel so at home. Breakfast was scrumptious, words can't describe it, you need to taste it!! The picnic lunch packed for us to take on our Skyline Drive ride was delicious, just what was needed after a morning hike on a trail along the way. This will be the place we... More

So, I decided on a spur of the moment to take the gf to a B&B for a romantic getaway. I think I looked at every decent B&B in the Shenandoah Valley, plus a few in MD to boot. Grandma's appears priced slightly below average. We stayed in Nana's room, which was quite small, but cozy. The room was very... More

I was warm and snug in Nana's Room. Ambience from the small fireplace was inviting. Bed was more than adequate with more covers than you could possibly want. A great deal of antique bric-a-brac and other interesting notions of a bygone era nearly floods the room. The hallway is the "Doll Way". If you like old dolls you'll have a... More

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying in this quaint inn in the peaceful town of Port Republic. The hosts are very friendly and truly treat you like close family members. They enjoy operating a B&B, and it shows! Even "Itsy", the cat, welcomes you and sleeps right in your lap as you relax in the sitting room!... More

This little B & B is a gem. There are only two rooms, and you truly do feel like family when you stay. The innkeepers go out of their way to attend to your every need. We stayed in Nana's room and it was immaculate. Even had a small fridge with bottled water and soda - and homemade chocolate chip... More

We found Grandma's Cottage entirely by accident after a bad experience at another B&B in the area and since then we have been back 3 times! The owners truly treat you like family and are a pleasure to deal with. Homemade cookies are in your room when you arrive, the rooms are comfortable and the setting is peaceful with a... More
