A couple of friends and I (all in our 20s) stayed in Wairoa Valley in January 2011. Staying in Wairoa Valley was the highlight of our trip around the Northland in NZ. I have travelled around NZ and this is definitely one of the top B&B that I'd recommend to anyone. The location is fantastic - not too far from... More

My partner and I really needed to 'get away from it all' and Wairoa Valley B and B was the perfect answer. Beautiful gardens, birdsong galore, loads of animals in nearby fields and a large, well-equipped very private apartment. Breakfast was impressive and endless, and the hosts both very gracious and friendly. Close to local wineries and beautiful scenic walks,... More

Wairoa Valley B & B is a short drive out of the Keri Keri township and located up a very long private driveway. The journey up the driveway includes views of horses, sheep, rabbits, birds and native trees. Upon arrival at the house we were very warmly greeted by Steve and shown around a very spacious studio seperate from the... More

We were made most welcome, the accommodation was clean and tidy and attractive with a cosy feel and lovely outlook. Our host, Steve, made us feel like ol friends and we had a wonderful time chatting with him. Breakfast was lovely with home-made... More

Very friendly host and a beautiful peaceful place to stay with a great garden. Steve gave us a lot of tips around Kerikeri. You could have dinner there and he is a very good cook. Breakfast was great. We will come again when we visit NZ again. The bathroom could be a little bit bigger, but the living room and... More

My husband and I spent a night at the Wairoa Valley Bed and Breakfast during our trip to New Zealand. We loved the lush grounds, the gardens brimming over with ripe passionfruits, kiwis and flowers, and the peaceful animals in the fields nearby. The studio was cozy and spotlessly clean, and was a wonderful and peaceful home base. Our most... More

Although we were only in the area for 24 hours, our host could not have been more welcoming and helpful, providing us with plenty of ideas and information and ensuring that we made the most of our brief visit to this fascinating part of New Zealand. I only wish we could have stayed for a week. The accommodation is spacious,... More
