We stayed at Waipoua Lodge earlier this year and were very impressed by the situation of the Lodge, it is truly idyllic and the accommodation is of the highest standard. We felt the only drawback is that the Lodge is situated some 25 miles from the nearest town so one is a "captive audience" as far as meals are concerned.... more

Heaven on the edge of a small national park with the most spectacular kauri trees in New Zealand -- personal attention, great food, luxury and privacy. If you're going to see the trees -- or if you're just driving north -- treat yourself and stay with Nicole. more
