A great winter weekend away. Beautiful and relaxing! Tracey thank you so much for looking after us so well. She knew we had a 9 month old and had put an extra heater in the babies room just in case we needed it. While we were there our baby had an unfortunately timed tummy virus and Tracey was so caring... 10 years since our last visit to the Holiday Park and it's still the little paradise we remember; it's positioned on one of NZ's best beaches. The cabins have been re-decorated and are really clean and comfortable and the view was beautiful out to the white sands of Pakiri beach. We found the staff to be very friendly.

This place is soooo worth the drive... The new managers are extremely welcoming, even going in and turning the heaters on in our room, knowing our arrival at this time of year is chilly at a 6pm check in.... Our fridge was stocked with fresh milk for a hot cuppa... Their presentation of the room was lovely too....! We watched... More

A beautiful quiet camping ground with white sands to walk, picnic and surf to enjoy closeby. The cabin for two we hired was tight, clean and new. It was mid May 2014 and the holiday crowd had returned to school or work, and so we had the place to ourselves. The management team was warm and welcoming. The reception/shop was... More

This was our first stop after arriving in New Zealand. Our flight into Auckland was delayed and it the took 1 hour+ to get our camper van hire formalities sorted. We resolved to head North and, faced with the approach of evening, Pakiri looked a good option en route to the top of Bay of Islands. It took somewhat longer... More

A beautiful location but grossly overpriced at $60.00 per night for 2 in a campervan. Campervan sites were uneven and small. Showers were charged for on top of this high price and were not very warm. Dump station very awkward and no separate water supply. Not a welcoming campsite Not recommended

After a long day driving we pulled into this Kiwi holiday park. The best thing going for it is the location on the beach. We were in a rental Motorhome, 2 adults on a powered site, we were charged $60! About 30% dearer than any other site stayed at during our six week stay. No wifi, small uneven pitches and... More

This was our last stop on a several week tour of the North Island before we returned to Auckland. It was late in the day and we had driven for some time and would have preferred to go to the Park at Orewa, but pulled in here to a less than friendly welcome from the "manager". We used out last... We just spent a couple of nights here staying in a Hayven unit. The unit had everything that is needed and was very clean, the staff were very friendly and the beach was lovely and so close. Everybody we encountered at the park during our staff was happy and friendly!
