Lovely grounds and fantastic rooms. We had a secluded villa. Which was very big with everything you need to self cater. Very big bathroom with spa bath and walk in shower. Lovely heated tiles! Our was lovely sitting in the hot tub on a clear cool winters night looking at the stars and listening to the pukekos. Breakfast was included... More

The cottages are amazing. Lovely furnishings, fixtures, beautiful gas log fire, comfy bed and a massive bathroom and fully kitted out kitchen. Views of rolling greens gardens and a lake. I could seriously move in here. Each cottage had its own carpark, there was tennis, swimming pool and plenty of places for country walks. Township 10 minutes walk away. Catering... More

I cannot rate Peppers high enough, everything about the stay was fantastic. We arrived earlier than expected and without hesitation was put into our room straight away. The attention to details in the rooms was incredible and the cedar hot tub in the secluded cottages is such a lovely treat. Greta on the front desk was lovely and very accommodating.... More

Spent the weekend in a lakeside cottage to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Cottage was very nice and warm, evening meal in restaurant was delicious, and staff were really helpful. We treated ourself to a massage which was one of the best I've ever had - we definitely plan to return.

This is our second visit at Peppers, where we stayed for the weekend as our retreat to just get away and have time on our own. The accommodation, location and facilities are just great. From Wellington, it is just a drive over the hill and well worth it.

Peppers Parehua was an overnight stopover for us on our way to Wellington from Napier. The property is located in vineyards a bit less than 2km from the centre of tiny Martinborough. The units are spacious and well-appointed and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately for us, we arrived on one of the coldest days of the year and the heating... More

Stayed with my family (incl 2 young kids) in the 2 bedroom Villa. This was a perfect spot to spend a couple of days r and r in front of the fire during a particularly cold winter snap! The villa was huge, with a good kitchen (although a couple of sharper knives would not go amiss!) The place was very... More

Had a great time at peppers , we had a three day stay and loved the lodge with its warm fire ,and wonderfully set up inviting rooms . Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great . Bikes were available to tour the vineyards which we did and had a great time with all the tasting rooms been close... More

We stayed in a winemakers cottage (23) on a Saturday night. The whole place seemed to be full despite there not being any particular event on, and it's easy to imagine why. The rooms are lovely. Really well laid out with open plan living kitchen area and a sectioned off bedroom. Loved the huge bed, loved the fireplace in the... More

Excellent accommodation, even the 'smallest' unit has living room, a small but fully-equipped kitchen, a gas fireplace, outdoor courtyard. Wooden floor with carpet, heated floor in the bathroom which was very well appointed. Wi-fi wasn't strong enough to be picked up by iPhones, while it was fine for the Macbook Pro. However it dropped off from time to time which... More
