Our stay at Parehua was very enjoyable. From the friendly greeting upon arrival to the pleasent and hospitable staff in the reastaurant. Not to mention the delicious cuisine and wine selection. Over all i would highly recommend a stay at Parehua for anyone looking to unwind in such magical surroundings.

Was transferred here by my agent when my previously booked stay was taken-over and am glad that this happened. The apartment was superb and was extremely well appointed. Kitchen, sitting area and separate bed are were all of very high standard. There is a very good restaurant with a good selection of wines. Breakfast was included and was one of... More

Martinborough is super quaint. It's rural surroundings offer peace and tranquility as does Peppers Parehua Martinborough. Ben Brown the Duty Manager, who was also the reservationist, receptionist & night manager was on the ball round the clock. No problem was a problem for Ben and helped us check in after hours. Having been a Hotel Manager once upon a time... More

Our studio apartment at Peppers was lovely, with a large separate living area, huge bathroom and well-equipped kitchen. However, the next morning when the waitress took our order for a cooked breakfast, I thought how nice to have breakfast cooked to order. Unfortunately, I was sadly mistaken as the breakfast had clearly been sitting in a bain marie in the... More

A 15 minute leisurely walk into the heart of the village. Luxurious units with top quality finishes. Huge whirlpool tub. Comfortable furniture and good wi-fi. Several wineries within walking distance so no need to hold back on wine tastings. The breakfast package was very good. Staff friendly and helpful.

We made a last minute booking for a "secluded cabin", which are meant to be more private and relaxing. However, the first cabin we were given (#5) is directly across from the pool and bar area. Unfortunately, the cabins do not have air conditioning or any type of fan (ceiling or floor standing), so to cool the room, we needed... More

This hotel is set in a rural setting but still within walking distance to the small town centre with a number of dining options. We ate at the site restaurant and had a good meal. Our unit was very attractive and spacious. There was a good swimming pool, although it was rather deep for young children. There was no air... More

We stayed in a self-contained studio at the lake side. Very contemporary interior and the spa bath was a welcoming delight after a long ride in the countryside of the Wairarapa. Castlepoint and Cape Palliser are a must-see and for a nice lunch in a winery we recommend Poppies in Martinborough.

This was one of the best places we stayed during our entire 3 week trip to Australia and New Zealand! We were absolutely KICKING ourselves that we only spent a single day there, we actually tried to rearrange our trip once we got there, so we could stay longer.

Our room was very pleasant, well equipped and we enjoyed a great night's sleep. These lodges have nice sitting areas and are much more comfortable than traditional hotels: I wish that we had more like this in the UK. We only marked down the service because the restaurant was closed on the night we stayed and we had to drive... More
