My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights for our mini moon and absolutely loved it. We chose a secluded cottage and were really impressed by how spacious and beautifully appointed it was. Breakfast was included in the rate and was massive, we also had an enjoyable meal at the on site restaurant. We could not get... More

I was very impressed by the cottage that we stayed at. It was very peaceful and relaxing time there. I really liked the layout of the place and it was very warm inside. Special features were the heated tiled floor in the bathroom and the gas fire (wood like) heater. I would go there again and even pay for my... More

We spent a couple of nights at a lakeside cottage. It is a beautifully appointed and maintained room with a well equipped (small) kitchen, a decent bathroom (with spa bath), a nice sized bedroom, and a compact and comfortable lounge (with flame effect fire). We have every season in the two days we were there (typical New Zealand!) and the... More

We chose this self-contained cottage based on Trip Advisor reviews and on the excellent price we found on Hotels.com. We regretted not being able to stay another day as it was wonderful: modern, attractive, cozy, serene, comfortable, with the conveniences you would need for a short stay in the wine country. The surroundings are all you could hope for. The... More

We stayed in the Winemaker Cottage and were absolutely astounded at the beautifully appointed suites. Our cottage was huge. All the cottages are far enough apart to make you feel totally secluded. We loved the the private outdoor setting which we sat at and had a glass of wine. The staff were so helpful and couldnt do enough for us.... More

Peppers is the perfect place for a weekend getaway. We stayed in the Kauri cottage which was beautiful - very warm and cosy for the winter but with a separate balcony for drinks in the summer. All you can eat breakfast - can not go wrong, delicious. We played tennis in the afternoon and were able to organise a massage afterwards.... More

+ The rooms are large and modern and very comfortable. The gas fire and spa bath were put to good use. Free wifi. - Tennis equipment needs updating. Pool is seasonal. Breakfasts were a la carte, not served until after 9pm (rubbish for early starters) and what I ordered on both mornings had a strange taste. Ordered the Beef Wellington... More

We stayed here last Friday and Saturday. The place was located not to far fro Marltinborough Square but secluded enough to feel you were far away. We were in the Koru cottage. It was luxurious. We loved the gas fire; warmed the place up a treat. Also, the cedar spa bath was amazing to sit in. We have the buffet... More

This place was absolutely stunning. An off the cuff booking which really paid off. We stayed in the Koru cabin which was prefect, right down to the hot tub on the verandah. A perfect way to spend the evenings after trying the regions wines.

Really loved it here. The cottages were lovely and inviting and the instant gas fire was a hit while watching the All Blacks live after having our Spa and ordering our dinner by room service. It was just perfect. I was worried the cottages would be cold as I have stayed at Margrain and could never get rid of my... More
