We made a last minute booking for a "secluded cabin", which are meant to be more private and relaxing. However, the first cabin we were given (#5) is directly across from the pool and bar area. Unfortunately, the cabins do not have air conditioning or any type of fan (ceiling or floor standing), so to cool the room, we needed... More

This hotel is set in a rural setting but still within walking distance to the small town centre with a number of dining options. We ate at the site restaurant and had a good meal. Our unit was very attractive and spacious. There was a good swimming pool, although it was rather deep for young children. There was no air... More

We stayed in a self-contained studio at the lake side. Very contemporary interior and the spa bath was a welcoming delight after a long ride in the countryside of the Wairarapa. Castlepoint and Cape Palliser are a must-see and for a nice lunch in a winery we recommend Poppies in Martinborough.

This was one of the best places we stayed during our entire 3 week trip to Australia and New Zealand! We were absolutely KICKING ourselves that we only spent a single day there, we actually tried to rearrange our trip once we got there, so we could stay longer.

Our room was very pleasant, well equipped and we enjoyed a great night's sleep. These lodges have nice sitting areas and are much more comfortable than traditional hotels: I wish that we had more like this in the UK. We only marked down the service because the restaurant was closed on the night we stayed and we had to drive... More

I have just spent a relaxing few days over the Christmas period at Peppers and the "icing on the cake" was the Christmas lunch prepared by chef Vincent. All of the food was delicious and the caramelised onion crème brulee was fantastic! Merci Vincent!

This was a very nice venue in a beautiful area. The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed four nights and would happily return for a repeat visit. The on-site restaurant had high quality cuisine. There were a few small negatives. It was a little expensive especially for New Year's eve. I'm not sure why the price doubled from the... More

We stayed in a studio type room. It was most luxurious with a king bed and beautiful luxury bathroom that included a spa bath. This place is one of the most comfortable, quiet, serene, and tranquil places I've ever stayed in. We will most definitely come back this year for a luxury long-weekend away. Breakfast was included in our room... More
