I wanted to like this but despite the location amidst the rolling vineyards, the acomodation was only so-so and staff attitude worse.

It was spacious and clean, but signs of neglect were creeping in with flaking paint on the outside and poor atttention to detail inside. On what basis they can be considered 'delux' (to quote their own website) is beyond me.

Main gripe was the lack of curtains on the little glazed tower in the corner of the room, which meant the morning sun come flooding in from 4am, so no chance of a full mights sleep. I mentioned this to the deeply unapologetic receptionist who almost proudly said it had always been like that. Also the self-flooding bathroom mentioned elsewhere.

This accomodation could've been so good but let down badly by thoughtlessness.

PS Make sure you book somewehere for a meal in the town, gets fuly booked real early.... (we ate at Est, very nice). more
