We first stayed in Seashells for 3 nights. The plus points about the Seashells is that you get a million dollar view of the ocean, and the location is convenient as Coles is just a 2 minute walk away and there are restaurants nearby. The 2 bedroom apartment though is getting dated and tired. The furniture is not in the... More

We arrived at the apartment at about 10.30pm on Saturday 6 Sept. As arranged we were able to get into our room no.A208 for a week stay. Instructions were very clear. The moment we entered the apartment, we were pleasantly surprised and amazed by how big the apartment - 2 bedrooms, kitchen, laundry room, bathroom and 2 toilets. It was... More

We stayed one night at the Seashells Scarborough and had a great stay. We stayed in a 2 bedroom superior apartment (which is in the main building). The apartment was large and tidy and had a good size balcony that we could sit out on and watch the sunset over the Indian Ocean (great views of the beach/ocean). We had... More

Great location, apartment over looking the beach, close to shops, cafes, restaurants and transport. Apartment was a bit tired, but very clean, functional and welcoming. Staff friendly and facilities well maintained.

Great 3 bed apartment with perfect views across to the beach. Coming from the east coast it was great to watch the sun disappear into the ocean turning the sky pink and orange. And is that Rottnest Island across the way? I think so. Close to restaurants and bars and not far out of the city, I recommend this place... More

Just home after our stay at Seashells Scarborough with our 15 month little girl. Our apartment had mould on the windows and rotten skirting boards with rusty nails sticking out. Staff were aware we had a toddler with us so I could not believe that they would put us in this apartment. I dread to think what could have happened... More

Dear JenniferCurtin, Thank you for your feedback and for the time you took with me at the property. We appreciate that the apartment originally allocated to you did not reflect the high standard that we aim to uphold at Seashells. Once again I apologise. Upon you reporting the issue of the damaged skirting on check-in we were able to immediately... More

We loved this particular 2 bedroom apartment. It wasn't very large but was comfortable for 3 of us. Note that Seashells Scarborough has 3 different adjoining properties. The pictures on their website can be misleading depending which apartment you book. Their website pictures are of the main building. We stayed in the "Collections Apartments" which look are quite different and... More

Dear Ros-Ann13, Thank you for your review. We have many return guests that take advantage of the 2 bedroom standard, Collections apartments as an economic alternative to the superior apartments here in the main building. To clarify, all the apartments that Seashells Manage are individually owned therefore you are right in saying that the furnishings and finishes can vary between... More

The Apartment was well presented with well equipped kitchen, super comfy beds, nice lounge and dining area and the bathroom with Rain shower was great, there was also dryer and washing machine. And then there was the, to... More

We holidayed at Seashells for 5 nights with the family and had a fantastic stay. The Apartments were spacious and we were lucky enough to have 2 balconies - one with the Ocean view and the other a courtyard overlooking the pool. Whilst the building is not new we found the apartment to be well maintained and maticulously clean. The... More

What you need to know is that Seashells owns or manages property on the street. From my understanding (which could be wrong) the Seashells property does not have three bedroom apartments. So when you book through Seashells for a 3 bed room apartment der you will most likely go into another property and I went into Sandcastles. This property is... More

Dear Spirit Boy, Thank you for your review. To clarify your comments on our property management, Seashells is the managing agent of 46 short-stay apartments within three adjacent buildings. These apartments all comprise Seashells Scarborough Beach as one property. You are right in that the 3 bedroom apartments are located in the Sandcastle’s building which is situated approximately 120m from... More
