On the return journey from Australia, I stayed at Clarion Rendezvous in Perth. As usual, Australia and Western Australia is vast, wide spread, this hotel is approx 1 hour away from Perth airport. Taxi will cost about A$ 70+ depending on which time of the day you approach. Location is too good, excellent beach and nice view from the hotel... more

Stayed for 4 pre-booked nights. The hotel is very 70's and is now very tired and needs an overhaul in the rooms. Also the same for the pool area. Was charged $224 per night. There is a reasonable restaurant ( Zanders ) nearby but nothing else. There is a weatherspoon style pub on the ground floor. The plastic balcony chairs... more

I stay here for business and know this hotel has been used by airlines for decades as a place to put their crew on overnights, which is a pretty good indication of quality but Qantas still put their cabin crew there, poor souls. I think in it's day this would have been a wonderful hotel but it's day is done.... more

This was a nice hotel. It's a bit dated but the rooms are getting upgraded and are still nice. The views from the ocean view rooms are amazing. Breakfast is a basic buffet, not very exciting. The pool area is nice. more

We had a package deal, including dinner at the Pine and Breakfast, either at the 23rd floor or at Pines, so it was very good value for money. $346.The room was a little disappointing.... old TV, clean but not spotless. The service was impeccable, staff well dressed and helpful For dinner at Pines friends joined us and we had the... more

Only good thing was the beach - the service we had at the hotel was awful, we had a problem with the air conditioner and extractor fan and asked reception to get it sorted twice as we were there for 2 nights, they said they would but no-one came at all. We had breakfast included in our deal but they... more

We went to this hotel for a much needed break. Pictures looked great on website. It was like going back in time. This hotel needs closed down and revamped. Everything about it was dreadful. We had to wait past the 2pm check-in time because they said room was being cleaned. Certainly was not ours that was being cleaned.it was filthy.... more

We stayed for 3 days at the Rendezvous for a girlfriend getaway. The location is great - right on Scarborough beach. Rooms were comfortable, however the interior and furnishings looked old and outdated. The pool is very nice, but got quite crowded towards the afternoons when it was very difficult to even find a chair to sit on! Overall though,... more

From the moment that I checked in I wanted to check out! This hotel is outdated, shabby and very disappointing - especially for the price ($260 per night for a "delux ocean view room"). The only good part was the fantastic ocean view from the tiny balcony - however the glass on the sliding door to the balcony was filthy.... more

Great location ... right off the beach. Recommend trying some of the local dining like Peter's on the Beach. Signature dining was closed during 4 day stay. The buffet dining (Pines) was nothing special. Would not recommend. Had an ocean view room which I recommend. Room was a 3 star ... a little dirtier than expected (don't move any furniture... more
