We had a great experience staying at these camping grounds. It was our first trip to Coral Bay. We booked a week before our arrival and got a powered site without a problem. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's quiet, amenities consistently kept very clean and we met a lot of lovely people staying at the camp grounds.... More

I found Bayview had excellent facilities for the number of campers, the park was full. Friendly helpful staff, great location across the road from bakery, supermarket and tour operators, as well as the beach for amazing snorkelling. Right next door lovely restaurant with just the best pizzas.

Coral Bay is a small, scenic settlement with only a few shops and a wide range of accommodation and tours. The beach and snorkeling are fabulous. Bayview is located across from the beach and has large grassed sites and lots of clean amenities. The showers etc are salty bore water and you can access fresh water from a few taps.... More

Stayed in the lodge with a room with a balcony, was nice to look out at ocean. Room is basic but clean and comfortable. Kitchenette had basic supplies but nice to have a small fridge to do at least breakfast in room or make lunch. Restaurant attached was good, easy walk to everything..

We've stayed a couple of times now, once in the lodge with a balcony with a view to the ocean - lovely (who needs tv??) and once in a tent in the camping grounds. Lodge facilities were great with a kitchenette, yes the shower water is salty but it's not potable so expected. The facilities in the ablution blocks for... More

We stayed in an upstairs room with balcony which is dated but had great amenities, was clean, functional and comfortable. We thought it was good value for $200. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good family spot, and dont miss snorkeling, manta rays and whale sharks - spectacular.

We stayed in the Bayview villas. The accommodation was wonderful across from the beach. We were delayed due to the cyclone but the villas were not damaged. The greatest thing was being able to sit on the veranda and watch the sunset. Only wish we could have stayed longer and we will be back.

200 bucks for a room . Very outdated , salty water for a shower , hospital blankets and sheets , rusty furniture , tiny tv, most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on . What a rip off , but hey everyone gets ripped off in Australia
