The location is ideal. Having said that, Coral Bay is a one horse town. Which has the positve effect of everything being super close and easy to get to. The Backpackers its therefore easily in the city centre, just 1 minute away from the local supermarket (more like a convenience store with prices to match) and 5 minutes to the... More

We stayed two nights in the ten person dorm before switching to a double ensuite room. The dorms are dirty and with poor ventilation (and no air conditioning). The shared bathrooms don't get cleaned out every day despite heavy use. No wifi, just exceedingly expensive internet on old computers. The resort also has one tap for drinking water (the rest... This was my 2nd time staying in Ningaloo Club. The first was in June. We stayed in the double en-suite room. The first time we stayed was in Rm117 and got the exact same room this time. Was surprised to find that the room had a complete change, new furnitures, new layout and a more comfy bed! Ningaloo club has... More

Although being the only backpackers in Coral Bay, the Ningaloo Club seems to be pretty quiet and most tend to stay elsewhere. The room we stayed in had stains all through the carpet, the blind was ripped and the window didn't fully shut. No fresh water available other than in the kitchen. Showers and basins are all salt water, which... More

We stayed only one night returning from Exmouth to Perth during April school Easter holidays on the promise of swimming with manta rays - which was excellent; very glad we left Exmouth a day early to do it. Two families travelling together, this was a perfect stopover for us. Plenty to see and do. Basic rooms and a dodgy air... More

The social aspect is good with lots of friendly people. The staff is unfriendly and not very helpful. The room is not great and expensive. Somehow it seems that most backpakers stay elsewhere. The place seems to rely on organized tours that have one night stop at this hostel.

The hostel has no competition, therefore it's overpriced and not good value. The cheapest bed in a 10 bed dorm is AU$ 28,- There is a pool which you are not allowed to use after the dark (where is the point? In the daytime you're at the beach!), no Wifi (internet AU$ 3,-/30min), not enough power outlets in the dorm,... More

Sure the rooms may look a bit dated and the showers are saltwater, but you have to look at the whole package: the bay with its corals and snorkelling is just a few hundred meters away, and so are the whale shark operators. The pool is quite nice and is one of the reasons I would rather stay here than... More

It's the cheapest place to stay at in Coral Bay, but it's still hideously overpriced with extremely basic cell-like rooms and uninterested staff. Saltwater ensuites, NO TV, and despite being fully stocked, the communal kitchen looked less than sanitary with graffiti covering all the appliances. Yes, you can't expect 5 star service at a hostel, but at a steep $120... More

I really had a Blast in this Hostel! - the rooms are clean (even if the carpet may look kinda old) - the bathrooms and toilets are clean - there's a very nice pool (and the water is clean) - nice kitchen p, and you can see people cleaning it morning and night - they have a beautiful terrace, bar,...
