Our stay at Chateau Yering was a family gift for my 50th birthday and was a very memorable experience. The building is definitely old school charm and history, fitted out like you've just stepped back a century. We were in the Garden room which was fantastic with a king size bed and a balcony view. A beautifully fitted out bathroom... More

We were lucky to check-in early at this hotel after a mid-night flight. This leaves a good impression for us at this lovely hotel. The bathroom however should have heating element which will make this place more comfortable during the winter months.

We had a dinner bed & breakfast package that was great value for a 5 star property. Dinner was imaginative and well presented. The dessert "sticky" was exquisite, and the wood fire in the drawing room was perfect for a winter night. Room was generous and well appointed, although TV a bit small for size of room to watch movie... More

Part of my current professional work is embedded in understanding the world where the ocean meets the land in a happy mode of commercial confluence. The ports have a pride of place in my span of interest and I learnt to discover much in leading up to some unique sea-land environment. Thus it is that my wife and I decided to visit... We were excited to be able to book a weekend package in this place that was part of the prestige 'Relais et Chateau' group a few years back, but not anymore. And we could see why. The package that did include 1 night stay, dinner and breakfast for 2 was well priced - but you get what you pay for!... More

My partner and I stayed overnight at Chateau Yerring after spending a glorious day visiting wineries in the Yarra Valley. It is five star accommodation with a fabulous restaurant, elegant sitting room with plush sofas and open fire. Service is professional, friendly - seamless. Breakfast was included in the price and it was okay but not sensational (I expected sensational... More

I booked a night at Chateau Yering including dinner and breakfast, thinking my architecture and history loving husband might be pleased. Well, forget him, I thoroughly loved it. I find it hard not to find fault so you will be pleased to hear the only comments I have that aren't glowing are that the TVs hide in a cupboard of... More

One of the best places I have spent time at. Both my wife and myself thought this was just an amazing romantic haven. I was blown away with the level of service right down to the GM who was really at another level. Food and beverage is outstanding. Every night was an amazing experience. Truly wonderful memories.

I stayed at Chateau Yering for a conference and have to say that the hotel was stunning, staff superb and food excellent. First up, the hotel is a heritage-type building with beautiful rooms and public areas all decorated appropriately. I ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there and couldn't fault any of them. The breakfast menu in the Sweetwater Cafe was... More
