Just spent two nights at Chateau Yering. Both my husband and I felt that customer service is lacking and while we have stayed before at this visit I felt strongly that some staff are not eager enough to please and at times it almost felt like we were imposing. One staff member at breakfast looked like she was in a... More

this is the second time my husband and I have been to Chateau Yering for a dinner/accom/breakfast package and it is faultless. Staff are superb, especially Kelly in the restaurant. Room was fabulous and breakfast devine. We've been to nearly all of Melbourne's best restaurants incl Jacques Remond (when still open) and this remains our favourite place. We will definitely... Had the chance to dine at Eleonores at Chateau Yering and having only read reviews I was not sure what to expect. The evening started off in the drawing room before being escorted into the large restaurant, complete with breathtaking views, comfortable chairs, super high ornate ceilings. The menu is slightly limiting with 4 entrees, 4 mains and 3 desserts,... More

My wife & I loved Chateau Yering, stayed there for birthday celebration with a small group. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms are large and comfortable, I loved the breakfast but my wife wasn't happy with hers & had some lovely food with gorgeous wines for dinner. Chateau Yering makes you feel a little like you've travelled back in time... More

Travel back in time, to the elegance of a chateau filled with antiques, a dining room fit for royalty with food to satisfy the most seasoned palate! A world class facility with a top Winerie adjacent and knowledgeable staff to lead you through a tasting of six wine varietals - with a comparative tasting of what they call "Village" with... More

We have now stayed here twice. Recently just this weekend. The room was lovely and the restaurant and reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The food leaves a lot to be desired - too much going on in the one dish. Ordered breakfast in the room one morning - 1 trip, cutlery second trip, tomato chutney, third trip -... More

My husband and I spent one night at Chateau Yering to celebrate a wedding anniversary. We stayed in a River Suite overlooking the Yarra Valley. The room was lovely with antiques, elegant furniture and furnishings and one of the most comfortable beds I had slept in, in a hotel. Gorgeous marble bathroom with an enormous claw foot bath that was... More

We attended this location because of a work function that also covered overnight accommodation. I have stayed at great places all over the world, and this would be the best. Enormous room, with lovely ensuite, and attention to detail that I have seen nowhere else. Heated bath towels was just the start. Free wifi, a note under the door to... More

I took my mum out to Chateau Yering to celebrate her birthday with the intention of having a nice, classy weekend away. Our expectations were well and truly met! We stayed in the River suite, which was elegant and spacious, with enough room to chat at the table, relax on the couch, and enjoy a champagne on the patio whilst... More

We had not stayed at Chateau Yering for many years so decided it was time to return. The place still looks elegant from the outside and check in was easy. We took the Yering Suite but was very disappointed. The room smelt very musty, the room was stuffy and the air conditioner was not adequate, the bathroom had a 70's... More
