From the drive through to the car park you know that you are in for something special. opulent rooms great service and views to die for. Having a winery near by adds to the enjoyment and experience. A little pricey but the experience is worth it.

Had a family weekend here for my partners Mum's 70th. The hotel itself is stunning, the rooms are beautiful and large, the whole place has a stunning old world charm, the grounds of the estate are lovely to wander around, and the service, at all levels, was attentive, friendly, and not at all obtrusive. Great nights sleep in the bed,... More

I have stayed here numerous times. The service is always great and the old school charm makes it an unforgettable experience. I had romantic weekend escapes, staying here whilst visiting the wineries. I also had a few work/ business stays, using their conference facility. It makes for a very personal experience and is ideal for groups smaller than 8 people.... More

Sleep is all too often under rated. Stayed at this majestic old mansion and was so pleased to have had a wonderful nights rest in an exceptionally comfortable bed. Soft but firm with fluffy snug doona. Rooms are old style but large and with those wide oval shaped shower heads. Will be going back soon for a non work getaway.

What a wonderful getaway, perfection really. I have 1 night left but couldn't wait to write my review on this magical accommodation in the Yarra Valley. The ambience and atmosphere are welcoming, elegant and enchanting from the moment you drive down the tree fringed entry road. The staff welcoming and brought our luggage to the room, with a tour of... More

We had a couple of nights stay at Chateau Yering and had a wonderful time. We stayed in a River Suite; these rooms are in a newer part of the Chateau but done in an older spacious style. It had an entrance hall, full size bathroom with claw foot and separate shower. The large main room had a king size... More

This place is very beautiful. The beds are huge and very comfortable and the place is very quiet and with the thick curtains you can't tell it is morning. A very comfortable stay with a colonial feel and lovely furniture. Really nice toiletries, twining a tea and free biscuits by the bed side and a free bottle of water. They... More

Perhaps this is not the place for a winter get away. The staff were helpful and friendly, but I found the hotel itself lacked ambience. Our room was big, but the layout was just wrong. You could not sit on the comfortable sofa to watch the television because of the position of it, and when you sat on the bed... More

This hotel and restaurant has been on 'the list' for years and finally we got to stay - leaving refreshed, loved-up and planning a return! The plush drawing room provided the English country house feel with deep chairs and lounges which were perfect for a pre-dinner drink and relaxing game of cards. Our River Suite room was much bigger than... More

We had a beautiful room with a large balcony and views over the lush Yarra Valley. Sophisticated food and wine in a romantic setting. Wine tasting, cheese and chocolate factories nearby. We celebrated our 20th Wedding Anniversary in style there.
