Stayed at Johanna Blackwood Cottage (2 bedrooms) with my wife and two children aged 3 and 1 yo. The cottage was very clean (which I am particular about because my 1 yo would be crawling on the floor most of the time). The entrance to the farm was breathtaking. Zac was very friendly and affectionate. We saw less of Charlie... More

What an amazing place. We just spent 3 nights in the Acacia cottage - it has been very hard to return to everyday life after our stay. Although all the cottages are wonderful and provide a high level of peacefulness and tranquility it seemed to me that the Acacia was slightly more secluded, so if available I would most likely... The property was easy to find, the instructions clear. While isolated, the property was too far at all from Lavers' Hill town whereby a selection of food could be easily obtained. The Shoppes cafe offered options of lovely pies and pastry that can be easily warmed up and enjoyed in the loveliness of the accommodation. Despite being off-station, Helen made... More

We had a wonderful experience there. Friendly host who recommend us how and where to go. And of course lovely animals to enjoy with. Especially Zach&Charlie. Cottage was clean and tidy when we arrived. Planning to visit again for sure in the future.

We managed to find the farm without much difficulty. We stayed 2 night at Blackwood cottage 2 weeks ago. The cottage is spotless clean. Kitchen has cooking oil, olive oil, tea and coffee. We picked up few eggs from the coop (subject to availability) for breakfast. There is a lemon tree with quite a number of nice big yellow lemons.... More

Ours was Tea Tree cottage. We stayed at the farm for 3 nights using it as a base to explore the region of Great Ocean Road from Apollo Bay to Port Campbell. The view of the mountains and sea was great. Sheep, goats and ponies were roaming around the farm. Heating the room using firewood was a interesting and fun... More

We wanted the kids to have some fun and interactions with the farm animals and Helen, the host was really gracious to introduce her farm animals and providing food daily for my kids to feed and play with the animals. She even opened her herb, vegetables & fruits garden for us to pick up anything we'll like to add on... More

Thanks to the kind hosts, our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful farm. We took 3 cottages, close to one another, each being lovely and comfortable. The grandchildren adored the animals and the adults enjoyed raiding the well stocked herb garden. The views are fantastic and it's a short drive to the beach, or village, for meals, etc...all... Great pet friendly farm stay accomodation. We stayed in the Acacia cottage that juts out into what seems like the middle of nowhere; but with a beautiful view over the dam. Perfect place to unwind, read a book, watch the world go by. Lovely warm wood burner inside and the cottage was self contained, so all you need is food... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on this beautiful farm. Such an amazing location with spectacular views! The kids loved feeding the animals each day and didn't want to leave. Helen and Julian were lovely hosts, just beautiful with the kids. Would definitely recommend for any young family or for a romantic retreat for couples.
