Stayed at Rosevears for one night, and found the rooms to be comfortable. The views are really good and worth sitting to look at. Furniture was sparse and decent TVs wouldn't go astray, but overall a nice place. Don't plan on cooking much for yourself in the rooms as facilities are lacking. The price here was very reasonable and first... more

Enter the vineyards at Rosevears via a dirt road and you eventually come to the cellar door and these wonderful apartments. Drive right up to the door and feel right at home in these modern well equipped chalets. The best value accomodation I have ever come accross anywhere in the world for these views and amenities. Sweeping views of the... more

Great place to stay if you want to see the Tamar valley and wineries, and only fifteen minutes to Launceston to boot. Staff were friendly and courteous, the views and surroundings were beautiful, restaurant food was nice and reasonably priced, the room was clean and very new with a modern feel, could have easily stayed longer if we'd had time.... more

We stayed in a spa suite. Firstly keep in mind this is owned by Gunns Ltd, not renowned as the pinnacle of forestry conservation. If we had known this earlier, we would not have stayed, however didn't find out till later. The suite was nice and had great views which wasn't expected. Service in the restaurant was top notch and... more

The previous reviews certainly resemble our experience of this accommodation as well. The rooms along with their views over the vineyard and the Tamar River were excellent! It was also difficult to find decent places for a decent price in Tasmania at the time of year we were there. Rosevears Estate also proved to be very good value in my... more

Absolutely STUNNING views and beautiful room! The bathroom is gorgeous!!! And exceptionally priced ($145 through own website). I'll let the photos speak for themselves, it is all very nice. We didn't even have to check-in as they leave the key in a secure compartment on your door so all you have to do is drive up and sleep. Only one... more

these are now part of the Quest group. Book direct with the Quest website for top internet rates. This is a fantastic place, the apartments are perched high in the trees overloking the vineyard and wetlands. There is a large living area, bedroom and bathroom with bath overlooking the vineyard, terrace / balcony with BBQ. Modern fit out, very clean.... more

This was a great place to stay. If you want something just out of Launceston (10 minute drive) then this is a great choice. It is on the wine trail which is the reason we stayed here. There are lots of wineries close by if you don’t want to drive the full circle. The accommodation is new it looks like... more

On a recent trip to Tasmania, we spent three nights at Rosevears Estate, which is located in the tiny township of Rosevears, 17 km north of Launceston and at the beginning of the Tamar Valley Wine Route. A$190 got us a one bedroom apartment (#11) with ceiling to floor windows overlooking a vineyard. Unfortunately, it also overlooked A7, so there... more
