We came here for my boyfriends Birthday and it exceeded expectations! We were booked into a cabin but ended up with a free upgrade to a spa cabin (pays to ask) and were greeted with a bottle of bubbles and a platter. The cabin was very cosy & clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the veranda off our room... More

The long windy trip up the narrow dirt road is well worth it. This place is a true getaway location, surrounded by beautiful rainforest. So peaceful and relaxing. We had the 3br house which was fantastic. Very roomy and plenty of appliances in the kitchen. We borrowed some games and a movie from the friendly hotel staff which the kids... More

This place is magical, I recommend to stay there if you want to experience a night in Tasmania's Wilderness, where you can take a bath while looking at the forest, and enjoy a glass of wine on your beautiful wooden private balcony overlooking the forest. This is a special experience for people who like to be surrounded by nature. The... More

After a 8km drive down a winding dirt road from the main road, which passed through beautiful Australian bush and a various Australian animals on the road (Kangaroos and Echidnas) you arrive in this beautiful Wilderness Retreat. For us it was the perfect place to be for a few nights. The room we had was clean and of a very... More

Lovely spot! Lucky enough to get in for an overnight stay Christmas night. The road in is gravel for about 12 km but well maintained and with occasional great views through the trees. Friendly helpful staff. Can't comment on the menu as we were there for Christmas so a set menu was the only choice, not much on offer for... More

Even though it was peak season and you expect in Tasmania to pay more at this time, this property is too expensive for the standard. The dinner was satisfactory but nothing to write home about. I felt for the two waitresses - as understaffed. The breakfast for a room costing $350 was like a school camp. Cold scrambled eggs -... More

We only stayed here on night, we stayed in the Moina cottage, it was a little cramped with three adults. The bathroom was clean and big, the roll out bed was very uncomfortable for an adult, pillows very flat. Breakfast was good, beautiful nature walks lots of see and the birdlife is great. One night is not enough to enjoy... More

We stayed at Lemonthyme over the New Years break and had a fabulous time. The staff here are really helpful and friendly. What I love here is that there is a real sense of homeliness and comfort. It is in the most incredible wilderness and to get to it is down an 8km gravel road off the main road which... More
